SOB-possible to enjoy it?

i try and try to get air on magnum but i can't. What do you people expect out of a 80 mph woodie? I can't stand rides like raven that don't even break 50mph. That is boring as hell.

BT can i ask you what about coasters that are faster just a question.

I like speed as much as the next guy, but it is the layout to me, and speed also doesnt make the ride that much better.

TTD for one is something that isnt better than say Dominator or the Beast, they are interesting in their own ways. Hell yeah dragster is fast, but the thrill is the hill, nothing else, substance like the loop and inversions in the Dominator make the ride sweet, and the Beast has the woods and all that surrounding it. I think that is where you might mistake a thrill of the layout for speed.

Try to get air? Either you get some or you don't. The rider has little, if any, say in whether or not they get air. It's physics and nothing more.

I find it funny that you don't get any air on a coaster designed to do nothing but produce airtime. But on a coaster clearly built without much thought on airtime, you are supposedly getting as much air as what's his face in S:RoS.

Yes, I did ride SOB last year. The Rose Bowl was better, but still pretty rough.

Ok, I've sided a few times with Beast Tamer regarding SOB. But, now he's just being ridiculous by saying that Magnum has no air. It's complete bull. What an attention whore!

Yeah, ignore him and, though he probably won't go away, he'll stop getting the attention, and eventually he'll keep making threads devoted to SoB that don't have a place, and thus Jeff will finally ban him.

Trust me, it works ;).

Here is an idea for SOB. Apparently, Worlds of Fun, a CF property, has a warning sign for their wood coaster Timberwolf. I'm guessing, everyone here would agree that PKI needs to put one in for SOB.
