Soaked was one thing, Wild is another

Maybe the animal show will turn into disaster mode and the animals start attacking the guests. Perhaps that would be worth the price of admission, almost like looking at a train wreck?

Cool. I've been throwing my two cents in all over the place the last day or two.

The funny thing is, I don't think I gave the community in general enough credit. I'm seeing a lot of complaints and a lot of people expressing their concern in a decent way.

I think you just stirred up the unhappy ones. Maybe it just takes someone who doesn't care what Dave B. says to get them all riled up.

I stayed away cause it was just annoying. Now things have gotten interesting.

Maybe, but there were a few making comments that made me join in.

Hopefully they do start crawling out from under their rocks - just for the entertainment value. :)

I'm taking the old-skool 'make enough noise' approach this time. I figure someone has to respond....eventually.

Yeah. If even just to tell us we're not posting to the forums correctly, because we're too stupid to know how, and if we knew how to post to the forums, we'd be able to play the game in a way we like to;).
Don't worry, we're all crawling out from under our rocks now! It's like the return of the living dead over on the Atari 'boards!

We're back and we're hungry for (M Brookes') brains!

PS - By the way, I post under the name 'Walter Matthau' on the Atari board. Why that particular name? Heck knows...

While I was very pro-Soaked (and still enjoy it quite a bit!) I must admit that even I am less then impressed by what has been shown so far. I like the big Ferris Wheel, and I will say that the animals look nicely drawn which isn't an easy thing to do. And the airplanes would look nice in the "airfield" section of a park I am building. But so far there just doesn't look like much there to interest me.

I'll keep an open mind, but like everyone else, I think they need to start making what people really want to see, not these weird ideas that they seem to want to. More track pieces would be nice, and the missing rides like Tilt-A-Whirls which I have been asking for since RCT1 are sorely needed!!

I do think Frontier listens, but in a half done sort of way. Kind of like when you are listening to someone and are preoccupied with the TV or something else. I get the impression that they truely don't get the needs or wants of the community at large.

Not sure if this has been brought up yet or not, but does anyone know the exact release date??

One thing I like in the new screens is the ferris wheel. One thing I don't like is the coasters are started to get more fantasy. I mean a Robo-coaster on the track. Come on.

i'm not sure what to put here..

Actually, the company that makes Robo-coaster has a tracked version. The track doesn't look like that, but they do make one, it just hasn't been bought up yet.

I don't have as much a problem with the flats and coasters they add, but its the extra coaster elements, the fact the game is still buggy, etc., etc. that makes me mad.

But I got to thinking, and I'd love to hear some of you guys' thoughts:

What EXACTLY about gameplay changed in the scenarios that you don't like? I can't always pinpoint. It just isn't as fun in Scenario Play. I'm fine (almost) with the sandbox mode, but the gameplay, I just don't quite know.

Bugs and lag aside Clint I just find that the game doesn't hold my interest like the previous two did. I'll give the game a go every couple of weeks or so but it's lucky to hold my interest for longer than twenty minutes.

I can't put my finger on it but it's like the essence of the game is gone.

-Jimvy!

Tek, I know of the tracked version but its like a disk-o. Small little halfpipe. Not even halfpipe. ;)

i'm not sure what to put here..

Performance is an issue among many that annoy me. For one they took out alot of general scenery, raising and lowering land is very sensative and a pain in the a$$. Others includ bugs, not very realistic elelments...rides spinning to fast and such small things that make it fantasy. Scenarios are no fun, easy to do if your computer can handle it...I don't really like the scenarios anyways...I find them boring. I often just play in sandbox making a scenario or coasters and such for others to play with. One kind of peeve is that the trains look so rectangular...they don't look as smooth as a normal everyday life version. I have many peeves among others I don't mention.

Basically its a time filler and I have fun with it despite all of these peeves and annoyances of mine. I like features in Soaked, but Wild has gone too far. They don't listen to the people and when they do they screw it up like the saving scenery...that partially works...thats just annoying. I crawled out from my rock and gave an opinion. ;)
