So, what coaster is Cedar Point Selling

Corkscrew will probably be sold, since it's the worst Arrow Looper in the World!
is it possible that cp could be giving them either woodstock express or jr. gemini

^You know you could have just edited your first post instead of making another post saying the same exact thing except with a little bit extra info. Also proper English is a gift; please make an attempt to use it. And why would CP give up a coaster? Especially a coaster that's popular like Woodstock Express, and Jr. Gemini isn't going anywhere because nothing can replace it in its current location. It's on too small of a footprint.

denis12345 . . I'm not normally one to extoll the virtues of any Arrow looper, but most Arrow loopers would consider themselves lucky to have as much airtime as the CP Corkscrew.

I can't belive this topic is STILL open. Demon Drop is for sale. To a reporter... it is not suprising that they had mistaken it for a coaster. Not to mention that the park has already said that is has no plans to sell any of the coasters.

Cedar FAIR, however, *is* selling two drop rides, and possibly a monorail and a Boomerang...;)

If I were Cedar Fair and was removing the waterpark from that side of Geauga Lake as they are doing, to me it would make perfect sense to take out the existing monorail, Mr. Hydes Nasty Fall, and Headspin. That would open up a HUGE swath of land that they can redo to their desire.

But as to the topic of what coaster that they might buy at Cedar Point, I will agree with the person who said that they were there looking at a type of coaster and not a particular coaster that Cedar Point would be getting rid of.

I wonder what the prices on the monorail and boomerang would be *IF* they were to be sold. 5mil for the boomerang and 200,000 for the monorail? *** Edited 8/24/2005 1:39:12 AM UTC by "E"Coster Gurl***

I don't think it would be a bad idea to take out the monorail. Not only is it going to be a pointless ride when the rest of HH is taken out, but every time I have driven by the park on my way home, the employees operating it have been ASLEEP while it is going around. I find this disturbing, sure it's a longer than usual ride, but that's no exuse to be asleep on the job. I have witnessed this at least 20 or so times. If they keep it, I hope they build rides that will interact with it wo make both more interesting. Just my two cents.
