The plans for the new roller coaster scheduled to open at SFNE next spring have been posted at Theme Park New England. From the look of things it is some kind of a B&M with a vertical loop, dive loop, and interlocking corkscrews. The heavily themed ride will top off at 117 feet and feature an enclosed queue.
Curving drop, vertical loop, dive loop, a strong-G turn (a la Batman at SFWoA), what I wish was enough room for a zero-G roll (wouldn't get my hopes up), brake run, the interlocking corkscrews. Sure looks like a floorless to me, but I suppose it could be a standard looper as well.

The strong G-turn is nowhere near the station, it goes through the loop. This is not an Inverted as the first drawing clearly shows a upright lift hill.
It looks more like a Stand-Up to me as there is no Zero-G Roll (if there was, it wouldn't appear as a straight line on the map, more like a slight s-curve to take the heartline into account) as B&M doesn't build them on SUs & all the elements can be found on Riddler's Revenge.
Plus this coaster is rather short at 117ft & there are several SUs shorter than this. Could this be the SFA SU that was cancelled?
it cant be a floorless or a sitdown.. before there average height is 150ft tall..
its a stand up
but whats a Diving lOop can someone link me a picture please.. my minds dead right now to remember lol.z.z
ah! why batman..they need some new characters man! six flags.. sick of BAtman.. so like u go to a different state and say you rode "batman" before.. people will think all kinds of BAtMANs.. also supermans. lol.z.z

There is no brake run on this one. This is a two-train operation. If you look at the transfer track, you will see only 2 tracks, not 3. Therefore, there would be no need for a brake run. Im guessing that straight section is a bunny hop since a zero-g roll would show up differently on the plans.
I doubt that it's the SFA stand-up.the hieght isn't the same,remmember the proposed hieght for SFA's stand-up was 140 ft. tall not 117 ft. tall.plus you rarely find a zero-g roll on a stand-up.

This coaster cannot be a Stand-Up. It either has to be a floorless or a sit-down. The drawing plans reveal interlocking corkscrews. B&M don't have those on their Stand-ups. It might have a zero G roll also. I don't remember B&M having those elements on their Stand-ups. I'm guessing it will be a small floorless.
This coaster might be a sit-down, like Hulk. But I don't think it will. I think that this coaster, which I think is a stand-up, is from SFA when they cancelled "their" plans for a stand-up. The height of the coaster is only 117 feet, and I think that the height of this coaster will be a stand-up.

Just because it is 117ft tall does not mean that this can't be a floorless/sitdown if B&M builds what a park wants, if SFNE wanted a small sitdown floorless they would build it.
My thoughts on the straight piece of track. I do not think it is a brake run. It does not need it. Some Camelbacks as B&M calls them do not have a change in track diretion they would appear as a straight piece of track from a topo Not many B&M coasters have straight sections of track other than hypers and no Standup has interlocking corkscrews, I think Sitdown/Florless with a Camelback like Superman Krypton Coaster wich is a straight piece of track that twist. or this is a standup with a hump for airtime and the first one with interlocking corkscrews or those are not corkscrews and only one and the other is just a series of turns.
I'd be shocked if this thing is a standup, with interlocking corkscrews that'd be a trip.:) The park did claim that the coaster won't bring in meny new peeps so my best guess would be a floorless.
Not a sitdown as Wildfire 10% it's a stand-up cause of the diving loop, but Kumba has one also 65% it's a floorless, like Knight Flight, cause of the similar design 25% an Inverted cause the lenght of the drop, and the maybe zero g roll. __________________________________________________ Live now- not the future
