Six Flags Mexico Superman - finally a go?

No you didnt, you had the last word (which i stole from you).
Thanks, onceler;). Now you have the last word...oopps! Nevermind.
Ups! Sorry abouy my inexperienced english. I will improve myself so I can express my ideas.

And in my opinion, the problem with the Mexican Goverment is the corruption.... No money, no coaster. This is the life on a 3rd. world country, but that doesn´t stop us from riding and wishing new coasters.

^ Miltonmx, don´t worry. Corruption is a global problem. The richer the country the more ruthless the corruption.

By the way, the montana russa at La Feria de Chapultepec looks very nice. Is it as good as it looks?

tricktrack - Having been to La Feria de Chapultapec I can tell you this: having to stare at a closed Montana de Rusa was one of the worst coaster experiences in my life! YOu have no idea how much I'd looked forward to riding it.

UGH!

I hear the ride is outstanding.

I hear it was more outstanding before CCI got their hands on it. Interesting, considering how phenominal their coasters are.
^Seems you have had no luck with your woodies in Mexico.
I DO know how horrible "coaster paranoia" is. I know it since my very first visit to a park in the seventies. Schwarzkopfs Bobbahn was standing in all its (unopened and unthemed) glory at Phantasialand. Back then it was the biggest coaster in Europe and I was hooked from just looking at it. My tiny heart was broken when I found out it was impossible to ride.
On my first trip to the USA in 1990, I couldn´t sleep all night before we went to SFMM. The publicity for Viper was hyping me up all the way down from San Francisco. When we pulled up to the Mountain we saw the ride was down (and a sign informed us that it would not open all day). You know the sound of a broken heart breaking again? My not-so-enthusiastic friends couldn´t believe my nagging when we parked next to Colossus because they thought that I should be happy with what THEY saw. Morons.
So I KNOW exactly how it feels to stand infront of a closed ride. (or infront of a closed park which robs you from your only chance to get a ride on MOONSAULT SCRAMBLE! but thats another story).
Until this day, I nervously watch for any sign of a train on the tracks as soon as the skyline appears on the horizon. Its called coaster-paranoia and its uncurable.
Few things are worse than the panic that ensues when you pull into the parking lot and fail to see the train of your favorite coaster climbing the lift hill.

"Its been three minutes and I still haven't seen the train!"

"Four minutes."

"FIVE minutes!"

And so it goes...

La Montaña Rusa is a classic "Moebious Loop" wooden coaster. I personally enjoy it so much and the view of tne Mexico City is simplu awesome.

This year in October 24 La Montaña Rusa will celebrate it´s 40th. anniversary. A big celebration is on the way.
