It could easily be placed in a park with a Superman coaster- all they'd have to do is rename the ride. Nothing says it has to be called Superman. SFMW, SFAW, SFFT, SFOG, SFStL, SFNO and La Ronde all seem like potential homes to me.
I don't think SFAW, SFFT, La Ronde, and possibly SFMW have the room to fit this hyper in which was reported to be around 6000 feet long and 230 feet high. Not to mention SFMW has that height restriction that was clearly enforced with V2. It would be kind of weird for a SF park with another Superman ride to get a hyper with the same paint scheme. Although it can easily be repainted, this is Six Flags we're talking about ;) Six Flags Saint Louis and Six Flags over Georgia both have some pretty distinct terrain, so I don't know if it could be placed there. I do know that Six Flags New Orleans was heavily rumored as a possible location.
Is Batman: The Ride (their SLC) themed at all or they pulled a B:TDK and just putted the name on the station and signs in the waiting line?
Gary Story buyed this coaster for the park on 2nd. quarter of the 2001 year. Then the Morgan engineers arrived to the park for a first meeting...... I´ll never forgot that day. The meeting was interrupted by the world news... it was on September 11. Two of them lived on New York so the meeting was pospossed.
A few days later, the Mexican goverment vissited the area and noticed that the park cutted come of the trees with out the proper permission, and this caused that the goverment suspended the proyect until the park fix the problem.
On 2002, The rummors claimed that the coaster will be reloctaed to other park, and the few coaster traks were relocated on some hidden areas of the park. 2002, and 2003 passed without any movement.
At the begining of this year, the park signed with Coca-cola, and the rummors claimmed that this contract solved all the problems of the park, and the coaster finally could be assembled with other 3 rides.
3 weeks ago, the park move once again the coaster tracks and machinnery and technicians began to move all arround the park. There is no an official announcement, but some friends of mine of the Maintenance crew, says that the coaster is going forward and it´s suppossed to open on December of this year.
The coaster is a Chance-Morgan Hyper Coaster with 70 meters at the tallest point. 3 trains with six cars each and 6 persons per car will run trough the track. The layout is similar to Wild Thing at Valleyfair, and the coaster will fit on the especific terrain of the park.
That´s all the resumed History of Superman at Six Flags México...... Soon will have more info and updates.
We enthusiasts that live around the big theme parks in the U.S. really don't have anything to complain about when you take a look at a situation like this one.

That´s for sure, but the really important thing about this coaster is that it will be the tallest and fastest coaster on all Latin-America and Spain.
Also, if I´m not wrong, is the tallest coaster that will be constructed this year. Please correct me if I´m wrong.
Its too bad that this is one of those coasters that very few of us will ever ride (due to its location), but I'm glad to see Latin American coaster enthusiasts getting such a world-class ride.

How do you have any idea what this ride is going to be like?-Nate
I had the oportunity to see the maps with the coaster layout....... It was a straight section of up´s and down´s, a section of right ald left helixe´s and finally a series of cammel sections to the station..... similar to Wild Thing.
