Six Flags America - requests Permit for "Addition"

Thats all it says at this time, permit for addition, it's under review by the county, and hasn't been detailed yet. Hopefully we'll know soon enough what they're up to :)

SAM

Sam,

Could you let me know where you saw this at. I'm wondering if I missed something in agenda for the planning board.

Thanks

A day at the park is what you make it!

He probably saw it on their long range agenda because the board doesn't hold meetings until thursday of each week.

I seem to remember that back in 00 around this time was when the park got their permits approved so that Batwing's construction could begin but seeing as we're so close to the holidays we probably won't know anything more until after the new year.....more than likely it's a site plan review for the new tornado & mammoth slides that will be going into Hurricane Harbor for the upcoming season, that is unless they've decided to add maybe a small flat ride to the main park who knows?

Anyhow I'll be sure to take a look at tomorrows planning board agenda to see if anything else comes up regarding SFA's permit application & wether or not they get approval for it.

There is no Planning Board meeting on December 23, 2004.

WHY Must you always talk about speculation as FACT?!?!?!?!?! You have NO PROOF that those are what SFA is getting for 2005!

,that is unless they've decided to add maybe a small flat ride to the main park who knows?

YOU DON'T

Doesn't really say a whole lot. The completion date seems strange. To be finished by 1/7/05 the job would have to be pretty minor.

This could be the first thread started for a new restroom.

A one holer or two ?

OMG that would be funny. But this ain't the WWE which does things to make the net go insane with speculation is it?

Watch the tram car please....

You sound jealous. Batwing Fan SFA knows things the rest of us only wish we could know ;-)

*crosses fingers* Hoping it's for new foot massagers!

No further explanation needed. I'm hopelessly lost.
LOL Jeff!

Actually, I would probably more excited about a restroom by Batwing at this point then a couple slides in Paradise Island.

That bathroom is five years late and five urinals short...;)
But the bathroom would still be a major improvement. I've probably worn out 2 pairs of shoes walking back past Joker's Jinx to use the restroom.

A flying floorless bathroom would be uber-sweet, though. :)

Maybe they are making room for Turbulence? ;

it would have to be a one holer. There is no way the permit could be approved, contractors contacted, unions greased and get the laborers online w/enought time to do a two holer and have it completed by 1/7/2005. look at the unions involved: Pipe fitters, plumbers, masons, not to mention construcion workers and the guys that carries the empty 5 gal bucket.
Truly, a mathamatical impossibility.
:) (couldn't resist, Jeff. sorry)

I was hoping that it was for that B&M Floorless that BATWING FAN SFA has been saying they're getting for the past 2 or 3 seasons. ;)
Before SFA adds a restroom, they should just get running water in the ones it already has! (Seriously, my last trip there, there was no water in the men's room by Joker's Jinx. Not pleasant...) *** Edited 12/22/2004 7:36:22 PM UTC by GregLeg***
