Singles line

Rollergator, I completely agree on the empty seats issue (thankfully it is not used on Batwing). If anything, the FastPass people should serve as the single riders!

At SFGAdv on Chiller, the Robin crew was hustling AND filling the Fast Pass rows when no one was there (and even filling in other empty rows while checking the train!). Batman was much slower and did not fill the empty seats. Even with a longer cycle, Robin was moving its line much faster, and seemed to launch almost three times for every two on the Batman side. A good crew makes a big difference.

Right. A man who was working GRR at DCA looked for a party of two in the normal line. After 30 seconds- 1 minute the man finally told a young boy in the single rider "Raft 8, hun"

Now while I disagree with the policy that you MUST have a partner to ride (see Kennywood woodies)

The only ride at Kennywood that requires a partner is Thunderbolt, due to the laterals in the mid section of the ride. Kennywood could use the current policy or install seat dividers.

I like the current policy

What is *so* special about the Thunderbolt's laterals that you *need* another rider there? If one can ride the Coney Island Cyclone partnerless (and with no seat divider), why not the Thunderbolt?

I think it deals with the direction of the laterals.

If you were riding by yourself, there would be nothing stopping you from sliding to the other side of the train.

Although I may be wrong...

PL, but you do that on the CI Cyclone too.

Having ridden both T-Bolt and Cyclone, I can honestly say that they feature *about* the same laterals....and a LOT of 'em...:). Sliding from side to side is FUN, but admittedly it poses a small risk.....Why can't I just take responsibility for my own riding....oh well, that's not YP....

"Singles lines - absolutely! What parks have them??? Ski areas have been using them for decades to reduce lift lines, why not parks too!"

I have to agree with you. I use the single rider line at ski areas and it is grea,t not only do I meet people on the lift but I don't have to wait more than 1 or 2 minutes. The only parks I have been to that have them are Disney and I love using them. Plus they have Fast Pass on the rides that don't have single rider lines so it is all good wait wise.
