Single or Attached?

Oh my, SOMEBODY resurrected a dead topic!!

Oh well, better than a redux...okay well update on my situation if I posted in this last thread:

VERY happily attached to Mantomatic/ThrustAir00/whatever he calls himself on the Coasterbuzz forums.

I miss being single sometimes, but it's far better to be happy WITH someone!

I'm all alone, there no one here to be around meeeeeeeeeeee. My Problems have all gone, yet there is no one here to drive meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Wow, guess I'm the only gay and single guy here(sigh).

I am a single gay guy also. There is one kid I know from my city that posts on here...and a few from the next city over so I wouldn't doubt this is gonna be floating around the school in 2 weeks.

It's cool...I got over that part of it a looooong time ago.

I'm recently single also. My last girlfriend hated coasters at first, but came to love them and even organized our big trip through eastern parks. When we broke up I remember her crying and asking me "who else would be crazy enough to do this crap with you"? She was so right. Ok I'm depressed now... :(

Coming Soon: Coasters "American" Style.

I've got a great husband that enjoys riding as much as I do. Not really an enthusiast, but he loves to ride. He doesn't mind me being coaster crazy, though. He's even consented to spending our anniversary at a park riding coasters to our hearts content.

Wow...she planned your trip?! That's devotion. Sorry to make you think about it again though. You'll find someone better if she wasn't right for you.

Single and lonely. I'm with PB4ever, my coasters, theme parks, etc. keep me happy, although a girlfriend would be nice, and if she was obsessed with coasters, that would be even nicer :)

Well, well, Mamoosh!! I figured but just wasn't quite sure. I, too, am a SGWM, with an avid love for coasters. Nothing yet has scared me away. My best coaster buddy, however, is attached (and has been for 20+ years) but his other half tolerates our 10 or so trips a year to SFMM. Let's hook up soon for some weekend coaster riding!!

Married 21 years. We have been to CP every year and SFGAm (formerly Marriott's Great America) about every other year of our marrage. Does she like to ride? We're opening CP and SFWoA; booked for SRM, Coastermania, and Timbersfest. Our summer vacation to the Black Hills is via SFStl, WoF, and the Iowa, Minnasota, and Wisconsin parks. We've already been to Florida. We're planning a weekend to PKI, and we've all but nailed down a So. Cali. trip. And now she's pressing me to book rooms for Phoenix Phall Phunfest!

Yep. I'm attached!

I was in love (so to speak) when I was 14. That was the 70's (I'm getting old) and I still remember her name....Elaine. Bought her an ID bracelet, and even learned sign language so we could "talk" in band as she played a several chairs down from me. Then we broke up, and I got the bracelet back in an envelope - with all the links of the chain broken She's still my first love.

Man, that may be the saddest thing I have ever heard in my entire life. Just brutal.

Anyway, I'm 27 (born on September 11th.. geesh, can you believe it?). I'm single too, but not worried about it. Funny cause when I graduated high school (10 year reunion coming up.. double geesh can you believe it??) I knew that I'd be married at 22, probably have my first kid by 25. Strange how things work out. I'm just lucky I didn't become a father first (oops, did I say that? ). One of these days, I'll meet HER and hopefully she'll love coasters too.

Hi everybody. I am single too. I am looking for a special man who knows a lot about roller coasters and can teach me all kinds of things and take me to far away roller coaster places. I know a lot about dirt and farms so if you want to learn about those we would be perfect. I also have pretty hair. IM me at rzrback17 if you want to stop being single!
OMG give me a break! This is coasterbuzz forums, not matchmaker!

What was the original question again? :-)

I started dating my wife when we were both working at Cedar Point between our 2nd and 3rd years in college. We had a love-hate for awhile (8 years!), but we finally tied the knot in '01 and I couldn't be happier. She doesn't share my enthusiasm for amusement parks, but she tolerates it.

Me: "Is it May yet?" Wife:"No."
"Is it May yet?" "No."
"Is it May yet?" "Shut UP! Go play your RollerCoaster Tycoon, Jim!"

I am married (almost 8 years now!!!) and my husband does enjoy riding with me, although he isn't quite as fanatical about it as I am.
I am 29, been single 5 years, and never been married. I ride coasters with my 10 year old son mostly. Its a good way for us to spend time together.

Cool Mamoosh and MMCoasterbear, if you guys ever come up North and need a coaster riding bud, drop me a line!

Well, good for you bud! It's great when you realize it's them with the problem, not you. Besides, if you realized just how many gay ACEr's there are out there, you wouldn't believe it! At the NorCal gatherings, I'd say a good 60 percent! But they're all attached though, which does me no good!

"But in the end, it doesn't ever matter"

Thrills ahead

SWM/ 29 / Ohio :)

I am VERY tired of doing the park scene alone, or dating girls who "claim" to like parks only to poop out after one spin on the ferris wheel! I am still waiting for a true female enthusiast....she doesn't have to be a die hard fanatic, but just someone who will jump at the chance to go, no matter how often. And they are out there, I see 'em all the time (but someone usually beats me to it!). And no, I don't need to get hitched on a coaster!

LOL Steve! "Join us next week for Coaster Weddings......we'll compare weddings to coasters, and how couple A is enjoying their life after getting married on Taxi Jam, as opposed to couple B, whose lives have many ups and downs after getting hitched on Magnum...." :) LMAO

Don't.....look.....back! The Headless Horseman awaits you in 2002!
Model coasters and rides

My previous girlfriends over the years never really liked coasters. I had bad luck with that. Great girls, just didn't like coasters :( Now that I have one that loves them (and shares all my other interests) I'm not letting her go! Now, how to convince her to get married on a coaster..... :)
