Silly names for rollercoasters

What names do you find that are shall we say corny, silly or just plain goofy.
My personal favorites are:
Hurler
SOOper Dooper Looper
Cornball express
Superman The Escape
Deja vu
Boomerang

Some of them maybe silly, but the ride is amazing :)

Personally, I thought Deja Vu was an excellent name for the ride that it is...

I'm going to be at CP July 10th & 11th. I'll be at SFWOA the 12th of July. See you there!
Volcano is just corny. I am sorry, but couldn't they have had a better name for it!? I mean Fire Moutain is cool and so is the Exploring Explosion Mountain. I think they could have done better with the naming.

Anything named after a superhero. *gag*

everything's better with a banjo
Names involving a streak.
Cornball Express. The name is so corny:), but the ride looks great.

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax, I pay the Homer Tax.
I think the worst name has to be Batman. The Batman themeing is great, but the name sucks. I like Deja Vu better. It just sounds cool. I also think that X is a great name. Hey! New coasters don't even have to have more than one letter now!
I think Deja Vu is a good name. It relates to the actual coaster layout rather then some (stupid) theme that is forced upon it.

Cornball Express really bugs. But I don't want to get into that again - last time I got slammed..

You made a good decision ;)

I think Batman is a cool name for a coaster but six flags has really worn the name out, any SF park that gets a B&M inverted immediately names it Batman, wheres the originality?
I think hurler is funny, so is Rollercoaster

As silly as that is, it is better than what could have been. Word has it that J.B.McKinney (then in charge of the park) narrowed the choice down between sooperdooperlooper and Merry Derry Dipper (after Derry township where Hershey is located). He liked Merry Derry Dipper but was overrulled by his family.

Personally, most people I know just call it "the looper."

I agree with that...mostly. I love superhero-themed rides that actually have theming. But when you give a ride a name like, oh, 'Superman: Ultimate Escape' and do very little theming (or no theming at all), it seems pointless. If a park is going to name their ride 'Batman & Superman Escaping from the Riddler's Revenge', I'd want to see something that actually tied the name to the ride.

P.S.: I am in no way bashing S:UE, which I think is a very cool coaster.

How can you not like the name Cornball Express? That is my favorite name for a coaster :)

The word 'cornball' is strangely funny to me :)

Tidal Wave- R.I.P End of 1991.
Why did SFoG have to steal our treasure... :(
I always thought "Adventure Express" was a generic name...no creativity.

It is your favorite name, yet half of the name you find strangely funny. That's the half I am talking about. I don't have a problem with the Express part, just the Cornball part.

See, I used to get pissed when people wouldn't like the name (Cornball Express)...then I realised that everyone has their opinion and doesn't understand that the name's Indiana Beach chooses tries to go along with their Indiana theme (i.e. Hoosier Hurricane, Cornball Express, etc). I do agree, the name is silly, but do names for coasters have to be dead serious? Theme parks are suppose to be fun and perky :)

Mill Force, All Supermans after S:TE
There are too many Supermans out there!! S:RoS, S:RoS, S:RoS, S:UE, S:UE, S:tE( any others I have forgotten?)Let's not forget the Batmans out there too!
I like Son of Beast name because the last word can be switched out with another one and when said can describe how smooth the ride is!
Millennium Force is kinda cool
Magnum XL-200 is neat
Raptor is cool
Busch names are all cool
Flying Unicorn is just plain funny
The Beast is cool
X is corny, so is Deja Vu
Roller Coaster for a name just says, yeah its so crapy we couldn't describe it with words
