If it was designed to be a floorless, it would have been a floorless. You can't just say at the last minute, "Hell, lets just throw a floor in there so that 2 years down the line we can change it again," and then *poof* the entire project change. All designing takes time, more than anything.
I'm not sure if the original intent was for it to be a floorless before B&M and Busch opted-out for the floored trains, but I think it's illogical to think that they would say that it was out of range of possibility, simply because they have already built a number of floorless machines, and have the capability to advance the design.

I'm sorry.....won't happen again....

What I *meant* to say, but I was having a hard time talking and rolling simultaneously, is that an extra 5-10mph over the crest of that second drop would mean a *negligible* increase in speed through the horseshoe turn (a refresher course on MF's maximum speed treatise may be in order here), and that the water would help trim off an extra 1-2mph. Pretty sure the final brakes could handle the load...which at that point is virtually identical to what it has now.
And then I was going to insert a rolling eyes smiley...but I'm kinder and gentler now... :)

Suppose B&M offered a floorless ride for BGA and then could not deliver the trains. B&M may have said to BGA, "well, we can build the ride, supply floored trains and switch them out when our research and developement clears the floorless trains.
Remember Kumba was supposed to be in BGE, but the R&D on the ride would have put it off til mid year so BGE called arrow and ordered a "arrow" copy of Kumba, called Drachen Fire!
I think that Shiekra will be even better with floorless trains. Now instead of having those railings in front of you. There wont be anything in front of you when your hanging there.
Y are some people complaining. I know it doesnt make sense but this is good.
