This is by far the most interesting thread I have ever read and had the chance to be a part of!...

CoasterCameron, good effort, but I think this thread was hijacked into a "welcome to CBuzz, woohoo... who is a she for those who assume everyone's a he *cough*dannerman*cough*". I actually was reading your post and was thinking "wow, this comment came out of nowhere"... then I looked up at the top and noticed the "real" topic of this thread. :)

Pardon me for veering off topic here... but how can a queue "absolutely ruin" a ride?

I was wondering the same thing! ;)

Well, if you get disgusted enough about the shoddy workmanship (or lack thereof completely) the queue, it may put you in a state of mind for which you are much more critical of the ride, and notice every little thing that further exacerbates your negative outlook instead of being more forgiving and enjoying the experience it has to offer.

my question is... wouldn't a question about the queue (aka "line") actually be veering back on topic?

did the shoddiness of the queue make the wait longer in June as people contemplated whether to quickly step on to the a ride after seeing the plywood?

BTW - the queues were fine to me when I was at the park with Jophish on Friday. The worst line was getting into the parking lot (30 minutes) and the traffic was backed up so far on to Busch Blvd that they were not charging admission. The second worst line was getting into the actual park (25 minutes) as Hillsborough county schools were closed and they expected 35,000 people in the park. The third worst line was at the Zambia Smokehouse (20 minutes) for some damn good food. After waiting 2x as long as the line SHOULD have been, in a 5 across line with tons of line jumping, i think you would not be in the greatest state of mind. That line is hot as well. Many people complain about SFOG's Batman's queue ruining the ride, and people don't pile onto them. Moosh takes every chance he sees to badmouth and question others about thier opinions. Says something about him, huh?

(yes, I know I'll get bashed more for saying something negative about a Coasterbuzz Celeb.)

As for Cameron, when has moosh ever badmouthed or questioned an opinion? He didn't do it in this thread, thats for sure. He asked a question trying to determine how to answer. If you'd ever actually met him, or knew anything about him, you'd know he goes above and beyond to help people that he barely knows out. Don't believe me? Ask dannermanT who picked him up at the air port, found him a hotel in SoCal, and got him into the Pre-Solace ERT...

Indeed, Tekno. He & I barely knew each other at the time, yet he went considerably out of his way to make my trip a lot easier (and cheaper :) ).
