I could see the GP branding an Intamin as "gee, that's just a smaller Millennium Force"...

And this won't happen if it's a B&M?

It may, but to most of the GP, the coaster will "look" much different due to the 4 across seating. I know that may sound odd, but I can't see the GP looking at Apollo's Chariot in the same way that they look at S:RoS at SFA. Maybe it's just me, but that's my opinion on the matter.

Happy Coastering!

I think they are going to get a Morgan. This topic came up a while ago, and somebody said something that really made sense, and made me think Morgan. Regardless of whatever company makes it, it will be awesome. Are there any full circuit hypers in the last 5 years that people don't love? I can think of 1 hypers not in the last 5 years (Desperado) that people say is too rough, not fun. Manhattan Express gets bashed too, but that's made by Togo, and I'm sure SF knows better than to buy another Togo creation. Arrow hasn't made a true non-inverting hyper in years, so I think we can count them out. Could this ride possibly be a 4d? 210 feet is only a little taller than X. Then again, it hasn't been very reliable and SFWoA has a flyer. I think it is narrowed down to Intamin, B&M, Morgan, and Giovanola. Of those, I think it will be Morgan.

The lift is 210 feet but the first drop will be longer.

Togo doesn't make coasters anymore anyways. Ya, The Flash is a good name and The Hurricane works, but whens the last time you've seen a great themed SF ride. They usually put up a cheap plywood Facade and call that themeing. Hmmmmm I like 2Hostyl's name.

I was thinking that it would be made by B&M or Intamin only because those are the two main manufacturing companies SF has used to build there hypers with in the last few years. But I wouldnt be surpised if it was a Morgan, i've actually heard nothing but good about PR. I don't think they are gonna turn to Arrow again for awhile after whats happening with X.

Ohio is always cold.

LOL! Where the hell did you get the idea that Ohio is COLD?! Jeez, it might get down to 25 - 30 degrees in winter, but I live in Ohio and yesterday it was 90 degrees and today it 85 degrees! You have been seriously MsLedd.

Anyways, I say The Hurricane.

LoL, speaking of "thes", I was at SFWoA on Monday and someone called S:UE "The Superman." LOL. (you'd think they'd at least just call it Superman b/c superman is a "person.")

Why do they report power outages on TV?

SOOper - you'd be amazed at what East Coast folks think about Ohio. They think about Ohio what we think about Kansas.

A friend of mine just moved to Washington D.C., and she hung up a photo of the Columbus skyline in her new office. She said everyone was fascinated, because they thought Ohio was just one big cow-grazing pasture, and everyone was a farmer. Ha!

Ya Ohio isn't really all that cold I think 30 degrees feels good :). I've ridden Face/Off in the snow once it was cold, but anyways yea The Hurricane would be a good idea, but to originial for Six Flags.

If Ohio weather is anyhting like Michigan weather that I'd say it gets below 20-degrees. I live in a Mid-Michigan and it can get colder than that and the U.P gets way colder than that and gets twice as much snow.

I don't think it ever got below 0 this winter in Ohio (at least in the Central part), but usually there are a couple of really cold days. This year it only snowed once that I can remember.

Alex, I'd like to bet all of it on something like...Superman: Finally Excaped After Being On An Ultimate Flight For Too Long...

-mikey

Well, let's see, SFWoA has added Superman: Ultimate Escape, Batman: Knight Flight, and X-Flight...how about SuperBat: The Flight....j/k

A 4-D is out of the question with Arrow's bankruptcy and Six Falgs having its fair share of problems with "X". It won't be a Giovanola as I think I remeber hearing that they said after they built Titan that they were leaving the coaster building business and were gonna stick to just making trains. It will either be a BM or an Intamin, but I think it will probaly be an Intamin because of the area. The area is kinda small and the only way it would work is with Intamin's overbanked turns, but I would rather have a BM.I like both the Flash and Hurricane, but it might be something about animals, like Megladon.

I wish Giovanola would build it but I heard they don't build coasters anymore.

They still do, infact they have expanded their coaster building division, so they changed the name to G-Tec. A lot easier to say isn't it!

I don't think Giovanola is hard to say. Then again, I'm from Ohio, and can say "Cincinnati" and "Tuscarawus."

"The Hurricane"...in Ohio? Doesn't seem to fit. How about the Cuyahoga Blaze? You older buzzers will get the meaning.

Perfect name! If it's a dud, it could be "Mistake on the Lake." :)

210 feet sounds like a BM hyper to me personally and if it is a BM hyper, the name could be anything. BM always comes up with great names for their coasters.

Are you stupid. The parks name the ride not the designers.

Here's my guess (Let's see who cares!) Intamin, Orange track, teal supports, named Goliath, in tune with their future "Lost World / Volcano themeing in that area of the park. Oh, the thought of orange Intamin track! Yea!

BTW, kRaXLeRidAh, that was hilarious.
