SFWOA's hyper's name

Does anyone know what company will make SFWOA's new hyper coaster. Also what do you think the park will name it as they already have a Batman and Superman coaster.

Uh oh Six Flags is in a jam now! They might have to think of an original name! Honestly you'll probably get an Intamin (they make the best supposedly and to compete with the ride across the lake) and it will be Goliath or Titan, just because they are names they can use. Hope you up there get a good one.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?

Last I heard they weren't sure of anything about it except that it's 210 ft. tall.

I was thinking the same thing about the name. SixFlags is gonna shrivel up and die now they have to think of a name other superman or batman. Who bets it'll be another superhero name like Spiderman or something. I wish Giovanola would build it but I heard they don't build coasters anymore.

Nope sorry, they won't use Spiderman (IOA) and it's not a Warner Bros movie. Batman and Superman are DC. Maybe we'll finally see the Green Lantern make a trip to a CP park :)

210 feet sounds like a BM hyper to me personally and if it is a BM hyper, the name could be anything. BM always comes up with great names for their coasters.
What about the Flash, it's about time a speed coaster had a name that represents pure speed. They could also use Nitro, Goliath or Titan *shudder* if they really can't think of a new name. I would prefer something like 2hostyls crap-tastic super suck-a-riffic coaster, but hey, that's just me.
well six flags gonna be a super hero name.

I'm placing my money on Goliath or Titan, but really does a name matter all that much? As long as its a good ride, who gives a rat's a** what the name is?

The Flash would be a good name and it is a superhero. Think of it, it could be a BM hyper going flying down 225 feet into a tunnel and it could be yellow, red, and orange. I think that would be a sweet coaster, but frankly knowing Six Flags, I will be happy with a custom coaster with a somewhat cool name.
I do know that Six Flags has been throwing around the "Flash" name for a coaster over the last year or so. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw one in the near future :)

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!

Maybe it will be named Raging Bull, and themed after a mad male whale ;)

Deja Vu in the front seat makes V2 feel like a kiddie ride!

Maybe "The Hurricane". That was one of the names tossed around last year when they wanted to build it. It would be great, red box track, silver or black supports. The theming could be an abandoned surf shop as the station on an old looking pier. There could be tv's showing regular shows with a weatherman breaking in every 10 minutes saying there's a huge hurricane coming, then show a map of SFWoA and put the danger zone right where the ride is. I'll just be happy if the ride is awesome, which it will be...Custom Intamin=Top 10
"The Hurricane"...in Ohio? Doesn't seem to fit. How about the Cuyahoga Blaze? You older buzzers will get the meaning.
G, that hurricane theming idea seems exactly like the video on kennywood's exterminator, lol.

Let's just say there is no such thing as a small order of fries at the Patch.

They would be smart to get a B&M, because there are no B&M hypers in ohio. And Im not sure, but I seriously doubt if the manufacter has any input whatsover with what the coaster will be named.

They may have already used Superman and Batman, but they haven't used up all of Batman's Villains yet...So you could see something along the lines of Jokers Jinx, Two/Face (altough they use that for the Vekoma cloned boomerangs), Riddlers Revenge...but SF hasn't used anything named after the Penguin. Also, it wouldn't be unlike SF to use the Batman name twice in one park a la SFGAdv (Batman: The Ride and Batman and Robin: The Chiller).

Happy Coastering!

How about Mr. Freeze, since Ohio is always cold. and that would tie in the DC comics theme.

There may be no COASTERS named after the Penguin, but there ARE other rides themed after him, such as Kentucky Kingdom's "The Penguin's Blizzard River".

I've been saying for a long time that if Six Flags is going to use DC Superheroes for ride names, The Flash is PERFECT for a hyper. However, since WoA's coaster is to be at least partially on the wildlife side, I'd look for it to have a unique, non-comic-book name. Time will tell...

Cricket, I've said the exact same thing as you. A B&M Hyper would make sense. Within a few hour's drive of WoA you've already got Intamin (Millennium Force, SFDL's S:ROS), Arrow (Magnum), and Morgan (Phantom's Revenge). The nearest B&M's are all much farther (Nitro at GAdv, Apollo's Chariot at BGW, Raging Bull at SFGAm...) Most people probably wouldn't make much distinction, but I could see the GP branding an Intamin as "gee, that's just a smaller Millennium Force"...

I think that the Penguin would work cause isnt this coaster going to be back near the Penguin encounter? Or any animal name would work due to it being on the wild life side.
