Does anyone know what company will make SFWOA's new hyper coaster. Also what do you think the park will name it as they already have a Batman and Superman coaster.

Can we change the name of Top Gun to your mom so no one wants to ride your mom?
Last I heard they weren't sure of anything about it except that it's 210 ft. tall.
I was thinking the same thing about the name. SixFlags is gonna shrivel up and die now they have to think of a name other superman or batman. Who bets it'll be another superhero name like Spiderman or something. I wish Giovanola would build it but I heard they don't build coasters anymore.

I'm placing my money on Goliath or Titan, but really does a name matter all that much? As long as its a good ride, who gives a rat's a** what the name is?

Let's just say there is no such thing as a small order of fries at the Patch.
They would be smart to get a B&M, because there are no B&M hypers in ohio. And Im not sure, but I seriously doubt if the manufacter has any input whatsover with what the coaster will be named.
They may have already used Superman and Batman, but they haven't used up all of Batman's Villains yet...So you could see something along the lines of Jokers Jinx, Two/Face (altough they use that for the Vekoma cloned boomerangs), Riddlers Revenge...but SF hasn't used anything named after the Penguin. Also, it wouldn't be unlike SF to use the Batman name twice in one park a la SFGAdv (Batman: The Ride and Batman and Robin: The Chiller).
Happy Coastering!

There may be no COASTERS named after the Penguin, but there ARE other rides themed after him, such as Kentucky Kingdom's "The Penguin's Blizzard River".
I've been saying for a long time that if Six Flags is going to use DC Superheroes for ride names, The Flash is PERFECT for a hyper. However, since WoA's coaster is to be at least partially on the wildlife side, I'd look for it to have a unique, non-comic-book name. Time will tell...
Cricket, I've said the exact same thing as you. A B&M Hyper would make sense. Within a few hour's drive of WoA you've already got Intamin (Millennium Force, SFDL's S:ROS), Arrow (Magnum), and Morgan (Phantom's Revenge). The nearest B&M's are all much farther (Nitro at GAdv, Apollo's Chariot at BGW, Raging Bull at SFGAm...) Most people probably wouldn't make much distinction, but I could see the GP branding an Intamin as "gee, that's just a smaller Millennium Force"...

I think that the Penguin would work cause isnt this coaster going to be back near the Penguin encounter? Or any animal name would work due to it being on the wild life side.
