Because there's a news item and we don't need thirty topics on the same subject.

Bump that.

bump taken. LOL
There will be no barrell roll only a loop diving loop and interlocking corkscrews thats why I think its a stand up.
Huge dark purple supports arrived today for the new coaster. Ray W. was able to snap a few pictures of them as they arrived, and here's the link. http://sros.ndws.com .  Now, to anyone who disbelieved that the coaster was a floorless, here is more proof for you, the supports are ovious not inverted or hyper supports, so that only leaves sit-down supports, as it is clearly not going to be a vertical drop or flying coaster. So thats all I have to say for now, see ya! -Chris
Its not a standup. Jeff knows this.
Hey coaster peepz. I say tall, short, standing, sitting, inverted, floorless, BRING IT ON! I mean it is about gosh darn time the East coast gets something new and exciting. And for all those peoples that don't like it, don't ride it. Simple enough?
specifics for the B&M coaster will be formally announced next week by six Flags.
Will this include the name and type of coaster.
sethman:  I'm not doubting you at all but how do you know?  Did a good source tell you?
check out thrillnetwork.com, they have a story that is justifies what I am saying. thrillnetwork is pretty reliable. I am glad your skeptical, it shows you don't fall for  every rumor of false story.
Sethman ---  Hmm, the story at ThrillNetwork says "Early next year" , Not next week... -Chris
my fault, i wasn't really paying attention, sorry to lead anyone on.
When does SF usually make a majority of their announcements?

-------------
We're not White, Black, Hispanic, or Asian. We're American!

Once more parts arrive, I think we can expect a announcement soon after, Six Flags announced Nitro about three weeks after most of the lift hill parts arrived.
I thought Nitro was announced after most of the lift hill was completed, wasn't it.  There was that whole "Nitro is a fake" thing if my memory serves me correctly.
I don't care when it gets announced.  I know we are getting a B&M coaster for next season and that construction has already begun.  I can't wait to see the first sight of the track.
