SFNE 2002 COASTER SIGHTING!!!

Hey guys, just back from a trip to SFNE, Well I have some sortta exciting news, At the extreme end of the old parking lot near the parking attendents, there are coaster parts. As of now, there are... Some coaster stairs, dark purple in color. Also a variety of dark purple parts, station pieces? Also there are some black station supports... So it seems this will be batman themed, but that is not 100% sure. However another detail points to this coaster being batman themed, if you look from superman or mind eraser, you will notice the access rode to superman built last year is now being extended to the area of the new coaster, possibly becoming a new pedestrian path... Well thats all the information I have now, sorry for the long message... -Chris
what kind of track was it?

I do thinks this could be true, after hearing rumors of purple parts heading up your way...

....hopefully somebody could grab some pics :)

The parts are B&M. I thought we all knew that now. It'll be a floorless... mark my words.

Yep, Six Flags has no sitdowns, and they (B&M) haven't made a standup in a while, so it'll be the floorless Jeff promises.

ROLLERCOASTERS....BETTER THAN OXYGEN BABY!!!!!!
Purple? I hope it's not another Mudusa!  I highly doubt it will be, but who knows with Six Flags.  If it is a floorless, I hope that flat section of unknown track in the plans is a zero-g roll otherwise the layout seems sort of dull.

I am going to SFNE sometime this month.  I will take a look at the site and update everybody when the time comes.

What if it's not a flooless? It could be many things, either an inverted, sit-down, stand-up, or a floorless. We'll find out soon enough.

I should have some pics of the site within a few days so we'll all be able to have a look at this stuff.  I'll be sure to let everyone know when that happens.
I'm going to SFNE TONIGHT!! I have a digital camera and I am letting TPNE use all my photos. I am going to snap photos of the site where the coaster is going, as well as pictures of the coaster parts. TPNE will have these photos. When the webmaster decided the add them, I don't know. But check to the site often.
well we all know it aint gonna be an inverted coaster since they got Mind Eraser. I see a stand-up not many of those on the east coaster except CP. And I think they are quite fun to ride. Floorless is no biggy. Your feet just dangle it adds no fear to the ride as a standup does.

Top 5
1.) Beast 2.) Phantom's Revenge 2.) SROS (SFNE) 4.) SROS (SFDL) 5.) MF

Probably like Batman Knight Flight, or maybe B&M prototype, or maybe there flying coaster. Probably be theamed after Batman, but lets not forget The Matrix, I mean Purple seams to be a color for a ride theamed after The Matrix
The colors so far are Black Supports, Purple Trim, Like on The stairs, hand rails, etc.. So The track is left open to almost any color... But as I pointed out, with there now being a direct path from The DC Area, it is likely that this will be a Batman themed coaster, however like SFMMRIDER said, it may not be... We'll see... -Chris
What if it is some new coaster that nobody has ever thought of? I mean something like X, did anybody guess that? It most likely wont be but you never do know.

Scream your coaster opinions and ideas! Its the ThemeParkBigShot!!!
You seem to have just crawled out of a cave ThemeParkBigShot. There was a news release about SFNE going to city council to approve a 120 FT high steel roller coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard. However, they did not mention what type it would be. I would doubt an inverted as well because they already have a Vekoma SLC.
I won't be going to SFNE later in October like I said, I'm going to go today instead.  I can't wait to see what it looks like down there.  I am going to get a disposable camera and take some pictures.  Go to TPNE sometime soon to check on CoasterGuy's pics.  The suspense is making this even more enjoyable.
