What if it's not a flooless? It could be many things, either an inverted, sit-down, stand-up, or a floorless. We'll find out soon enough.

I already found out. It's a floorless.

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
TPNE and I (coasterguy) have made a deal on photos. Since I live 10 minutes from the park, I go there regularly, I am supplying TPNE with construction photos. I took some yesterday and sent them to him, and update with the photos should be made very very soon.
Hey Jeff, do you know any more details about the floorless coaster?
A coaster themed to The Matrix would be sweet!

-------------
Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

I was there last night (10-7) and didn't see Jack in that area. Jill was no where to be found either. Seriously though, I didn't see a thing, if I had I would have sapped some picks with my phat new digital camera. The only hint was on a marquee that said "New 120 ft. steel coaster for 2002."
I don't think it will be a Medusa clone. One thing Six Flags has done well with as of late would be variation in their floorless coasters. None of their installations look like a previous or subsequent one.

That site never updates anymire i check freqently. I think it provides excellent information on NE coasters but it would be nice to see some more updates.

How do you know it's a floorless? Do you have any resources confirming this?

Well if I went around telling everybody who my sources are, they wouln't tell me anymore now would they.

I learned today it's probably not the only new floorless in the chain, either.

Hey I think Jeff is applying that a six flags park is going to get an floorless this year besides SFNE. i would definitely have to say that SFOG is getting it and because of all the rumors about a superman themed coaster, I would say the floorless is going to be red and blue.

Like Jeff has said many times, webmasters do have lives outside of our websites.  Although we try to keep current, there might be rare occasions when we're not.  TPNE is as current as I know how to make it.  I can't think of anything on that site that is not up-to-date.  I'm in the process of adding CoasterGuy's pics so you will have more info soon.  Once construction gets underway, I assure you there will be construction photos every few weeks.

make sure you watch out for Cyclone Re tracking also That would make some nice photos, Remember I emailed you about it. There is the wood outside the ride, That means faster/smoother ride, and NO TRIM BRAKE! Cyclone should be as good as I heard it was when It opened.
How does Jeff know everything? I gotta start my own coaster website so people will tell me stuff like this, hehe. I wonder what parks will be getting the other foorlesses... Jeff, can you give us any hints?
TPNE, you are doing a great job with the site.  I like the idea of the SFNE 2002 Coaster Section where we can get updates.  Looking forward to the pics.

I went to SFNE on Columbus Day.  The whole area is fenced off like we all know.  I think I saw some supports but I'm not sure.  I doubt they were.  When I was looking around the construction area a guy with a video camera came over and starting taping.  He told me, "the purple things aren't here anymore.  They were here a few days ago."  I then asked him, "track?" and he replied, "no, only supports."  There has been some signs of something as you can see.  I can't wait until this project gets into full swing.

Jeff do you know if that straight piece of track is a barrel roll or mid-course brakes?

You're right, SFNE Guy.  If they start working on the Cyclone, we'll be sure to post pics of that as well.  If the Cyclone gets smoothed out and the new B&M is a success, SFNE will be a much better park.  Also, the new park director Joe Meck, the man behind Warner Brothers Movie World in Germany and Madrid, is sure to help fix some of the operations problems in the park.  Supposedly, he's a really great guy who cares about more than the bottom line.
Check out SixFlagsNews.com, for pics of the new coaster at SFNE!!!!!
