Go Tigers
Hello - newbie here!
I've had the pleasure to ride SFOG's Viper in both GA and in SFGAm. The excessive braking found on the ride in Georgia did not exist when operating in Gurnee, if memory serves me correctly. I have vivid memories of a much higher and more intense trip up the back spike, ala Monte.
Can anyone else verify this?

Ok, I was away for a month to calm down a bit, and I'm back.
I remember White Lightnin' at PC, but don't remember if it was flywheel, but I think I remember it hit the back spike some. Anyone else remember?

Brian.....welcome back! rcdb says that PCar's Anton was a weight-drop model, so that would *tend* to make me think it was one that "slid" up the back spike. Monte (oh how I love that ride) ROARS up the back spike, and the airtime on that steep incline is *memorable*.....
Keep the name and theming....Viper: the coaster that striketh thrice!
