SFGAM's Superman

Does anybody have any details to what exactly the layout might be for this ride? Also, when is great america suppose to reopen next year?

Surfs up in Hollister, CA! Later Dudes...

SFOG clone I suppose...
It reopens in May.

Hm... Amusement Today's IAAPA Edition had a layout. However, it will be an exact clone of S:UF at SFoG.

S00perGIR--Amusement Today had the layout for Six Flags Great Adventure's flyer, not the one that will be going into Six Flags Great America. :)
It isn't a full clone. The layout will be the same but there will be two stations (Unloading and loading) taking place of the side by side transfer ones.
I would be cool if we are going to get a original layout. It is possiable there must be some reason why six flags has not told the public about SFGAm Superman but the have told SFGAD. That would be so cool but it will not happen.
What are the "new" load and unload stations, I was on S:UF at Georgia, but haven't heard anything about the new stations. And another question: are these two rides going to have the tunnel too? or not?

The Beast, at night, Nothing better.

The one in Georgia has dual loading stations, but the SFGAdv ride will only use one.
That suxs, that takes longer. We obviously have no clue what the SFGAm one will be like yet... it might not even be a clone. But whatever it is I hope it has dual stations.

...or perhaps B&M are gonna use a new form of loading for their flying coasters like the one seen on that patent a little while ago that some people confused for a B&M 4D.

and perhaps B&M actually gave a 'discount' to SFGAdv to use this new loading system as the park wanted to stick to a tried and tested method and not another prototype.... perhaps!

Or B&M's current system works well enough that twin stations are unnecessary....

The SFGAM B&M Flyer will be the same as the SFGADV Flyer.

The pretzel loop has also been reworked to be somewhat less intense.

If its a clone who cares its still a new coaster that will be great. The only thing really care about is if they tear out the parking lot underneath it. I think we might get acustom design becuase we were saposed to buil it in Whizzers space and that ws changed to SW spce which isa lot bigger. It all that timeSF might of asked for a new design.
Rides are planned *YEARS* in advance. They are probably getting the same clone, just in Shockwave's place. It could fit in both places.

Säubern Sie mit Milch?

The Park opens May 3rd this year. And there is no doubt in my mind that the Superman Ride will be an exact clone except for it only having one station. I hate Great America for doing that, now instead of having this great ride with a resonable ride queue we get it with a long long wait! P.S. I miss Shockwave :-(

Have you ever been to SFGAm and seen Deja Vu closed? If you have then go again and it WILL BE DEJA VU!

Sorry I couldn't hear you, The voices in my head are drowning you out.

Im still mad about SFGAm removing SW and not trying hard enough to find another spot for the flyer, but I'm not gonna keep brining up SW's removal, I just simply won't visit the park anymore.

I would trust this man, he does do modeling for SF parks occasionally, doesn't he?

Good, that means one less person in the lines at the park. I think Shockwave's removal is a very sound business decision and I dont fault the park for it in the least. The only people that will really be affected by it's removal are spoiled enthusiasts like you. Meanwhile, I will be enjoying the new flyer whether or not it is a clone. Who cares?
