OK - the deal with Shockwave being torn out and replaced is going to happen, accept it. Do I think they should build a new section where Shockwave is, with a major coaster? Yes. Will It happen? No. I look for SFGAM to simply remove Shockwave and replace it with a B&M of sorts. They will probably use the same queue house (which would be a huge mistake as that queue house sucks) and place the station in roughly the same location.
Revamp Orleans and create the true Madi Gras feel. Cajun food, music, beads? We can only wish. I just hope that when I enter the park next year to ride the new creation that I am blown away by the themeing of the ride to make it an awesome experience.
P.S. - SFGAM if it ends up being a flyer, use underground tunnels. They truely improve the ride experience.

The other thing is that a Floorless would probably catch more of the looks over the flyer for the sure size of the coaster.
Another thing has any zoning permits or any height restrictions been forced on the park as of yet?

The height restrictions the park has to deal with are as follows...Anything over 120 ft requires a variance, but their ultimate height limit is that nothing can exceed the height of the Sky Trek Tower, which is 310 feet.
When I spoke with a person at the Village of Gurnee Zoning and Planning office (portraying myself as a villiage resident) they stated that SFGAm had not yet notified them of a request for variance, which led him to believe that whatever they are planning on building does not require a variance. He confirmed that the limit is 120 ft without a variance.
The interesting thing is, S:UF as constructed at SFoG is 110 ft, under the variance limit for GAm...coincidence???

Thanks Great America!
S:UF also has a small "footprint"...(RCT term) which means it's clone-able......the problem with S:UF is that once you leave the pretzel loop, it's all over....
Seinfeld fans: (the pretzel made me thirsty, but didn't QUENCH my thirst)....that's what Mindbender is for...:)
