If they are digging next to the park then the WP is definitey going next to the park and the go-karts are getting moved. It sure would be nice if Splash is moved into the new waterpark or over by Rapids as well. It would make alot of sense.

I was at SFNO on Saturday, and there was a large banner where the Batman stunt show used to be announcing a new attraction coming for 2005.
I survived a Japanese typhoon and the Togo flat ride of death!!!!!!
The reason that looks like an enterance by space and karts was they use to have a stage there and it was used for access to the satage area all the time by the different events that were held there.
Heck - maybe SFGAM's Shockwave will finally be going to a different park as a new ride. That would be a cheap alternative.
