SFGAm riddle

Post # 500 (unless someone else has beaten me to it.) This is a fun one to read!!!

-----------------

while I don't like the idea of my air conditioner (Space Shuttle America) being taken out, a wild mouse would be perfect there.

you might and I stress the word might be able to fit something like Batman Dark Knight in the area between Viper and Whizzer, but then you're ruining scenery for both of those coasters.

one final note, lets keep in mind that we don't know what will happen to the land under SW and lets all hope that it is landscaped to give us the best experience possible.

uh oh, sounds like someone has a case of the mondays.

If they ever stick another coaster in Southwest Territory, I would hope its a .. "Mine train" ride. This would blend in perfectly into that area.

-----------------
2 superheroes in Gurnee next season? Oh the humanity. :)

Yeah,

The space between Viper and Whizzer isn't that impressive. It's Viper, some space, a queue, about 15 feet, tracks, 15 feet, Whizzer. The space from Viper's queue to the go carts isn't that big either. You could probably fit a flat or two there, but what would that do? I highly doubt that a coaster would fit there at all unless it was just a section that the coaster flew by. (Not too mention it's nice and "hilly", lol.) That's my two cents.

Until you can show me a sunny Saturday in June/July/August wher all the rides are near walk-ons, I will continue to believe that SFGAm is doing *something* right. As much as you may not like the so-called 'clones', they are immensely popular. Hell, even my Grandmother knows Deja Vu by name and she hasn't stepped foot in an amusement park in *my* lifetime.

I still dont like the idea of a flying coaster in lieu of Shockwave, but that does make good business sense. I'm just hoping that is not *all* that is over there.

Oh it won't be all that's over there, Hostyl. Don't the parking lines mean anything to you?! ;)

-----------------
It tastes like burning.

Yeah - maybe they will arrange the storage shed for the trains over some parking slots so each train is able to park in their own slot.

BMCOASTER

Why are alot of people whining about getting a very smooth coaster. And to add to that its a B+M and also its a Flying coaster. Around here there is nothing other thing like it.
Were not whining that we are getting a B&M or a new coaster, we are whining because we don't want this new thrill machine to be built on te frickin parking lot.

BMCOASTER: we don't know that its going to be over a parking lot. its very possible that SFGA will tear the lot out and landscape it. so why not have a little faith that SFGA will do the right thing?

I hope that they do pull out all the concreate and add trees and maybe a little pond to fly over, that would be pretty cool.
13 pages of replies, is that a record?

I'm not sure for CB, but didn't GTTP have like 20 pages for Wicked Twister?

What...you mean other than the story published in a Chicago area newspaper and reported here in the news area?

Thanks Great America!

Hey, did you guys catch Godsey's remark in another thread that B&M was working on toning down the intensity on the pretzel loop for these two flyers?!?

Come on!! They don't need to baby us!! After 4 seasons of Bull I'm ready to be yanked around a little! I've heard that the rest of the layout is a bit dull and that the pretzel loop is the ride's main attraction -- please don't mess that up B&M!

Do we have conformation that it is, in fact, a clone? Or are we assuming it based on the track color, because I'd still like to see a custom coaster instead of a S:UF clone. Either way... kill the lot! we need terrain! kill the lot! we need terrain! Who's with me?
Godsey thinks they'll be slightly different. The one in NJ is definitely going to be called "Superman" and will be about 7 feet higher, so my guess is that they will be near-clones, with maybe one different element.
