I think that the impulse will be themed to one of Batman's nemeses, changing Yankee Harbor to Gotham City. Superman will be brought into the park in 2003 in the form of a floorless, behind Orleans Pizza.
Any clue if we will see the Cajuan Cliffhanger (rotor) taken out? (since its accident left it non operating the remainder of last year?)
Since it is in the same section as B:TR, I'd think it would be themed to one of Batmans enimies(Riddler, Two Face, Mr. Freeze) or possibly Robin. I heard the twisting spike would be over water, I think it would be cooler to the other spike over water, the brake holds you and you drop straight down toward the water, but either way.

I heard that both of the spikes would be located over the water which would make things interesting. I have a strange feeling that if they decided to put the straight spike over the water a lot of guests items would end up in the water. Trust me on this, as a X employee this will be bound to happen.

yeah if this ride were going to be batman enemy-themed, my bet goes for two face. think about it. youre going TWO directions. I'm not saying im positive, just my guess.

I dunno I still think they might keep it Superman, but Riddler or Pengiun would be cool cus it would be a first, not for Riddler though.

yo know RollrCoastr00 might have a point. The park could just put a fake penguin on the Yankee clipper area and call it a day.
McNeil the trains don't face both ways that is the Invertigo that does that. These are your standard trains all facing forward. The Riddler would be pretty cool or how about just a standard name that isn't associated with any superhero or villian.

Um what about POISON IVY? The track is TWISTED like ivy on one end isn't it? I think it would be cool to theme the track like a piece of ivy. Maybe get some fake leaves and put it on it.

If it has to be Batman themed, i have to agree with Dustijn and go with Poison Ivy's Twisted Train. It could be Purple with green track, kinda like Joker's Jinx. As for Superman, I just dont really see *anywhere* that his theming could be pulled off without ruining the feel of the park. Anyway, I still think they should have put the ride in Orleans Place and called it "Swamp Thing" (hey, that's DC Comics!)

The Cajuan Cliffhanger is still there and it will be coming back in 2001, actually it was redone by the end of September, but they decided to just bring it back in 2001 for various reasons. The ride has been totally redone as far as the operations go. It only drops the floor 6 inches and the ride operator cannot rise the floor until the speed in zero for 3 seconds and these changes are now in operations manual. Basically Six Flags made the ride operator idiot-proof since the computer control all the function of the ride about all the operator has to worry about is starting the ride.
How about the Riddler, only a twisted mind like im could think of the first spike. ;)
