transfan, well, you are "the pot calling the kettle black" since you are here, on a coaster website, going into a tread about coaster construction photos...so, by extention, you must also be obsessed with coasters...
Yes, I am here on a coaster website on a thread about construction photos, but that doesn't mean I'm obsessed with coasters. I don't travel to a park every other day to take pictures of the coaster being built and post them online for everyone to see. I enjoy riding coasters, but I do not belong to any clubs that take trips around the country or world to ride different coasters and take pictures. I think that is being obsessed if you spend your time and money traveling around like that. I enjoy riding coasters. I do not need an off season fix like some do. I can wait until the next season starts and can wait for the new ride to be built. I am not obsessed. Thank you.
With your definition of being obsessed with coasters of
"...belong[ing] to any clubs that take trips around the country or world to ride different coasters and take pictures. I think that is being obsessed if you spend your time and money traveling around like that. "
You just named a (vast) majority of this website's users obsessed...not that it is a bad thing, but just letting you know that your definition casts a wide net over this community.
Besides, is our "obsession" hurting anybody? No...if you don't want to read theads about new construction pictures, nobody is making you click on the tread and making you read them. It's just like television...if you don't like what's on change the channel.

...and for you, arockam2, your opinions are worthless to me. If you don't care enough to spend the extra time to make your posts use actual words instead of childish abbreviations, why should we even care what you write?

Bottom line here is for both transfan and for arockam2, we arent railing on you because you arent obsessed with coasters. I could care less if either of you are or arent. Doesnt matter, doesnt mean we can or cant meet up at a park and ride coasters together.
What many people are upset about is that you feel you have the right to tell someone they are too obsessed or too much into this topic when one can clearly see that the thread title is about "Construction Photos". If you arent obsessed with it to that point, then fine, skip over this thread and read something else that interests you. All we are asking here is that if you arent interested in the topic at hand, dont tell us. You can just skip it and go on to the next. You dont need to tell us that we are all whacked because we happen to be interested in something.
That said, I am not going to start a flame war, I am not going to stoop to that level. The moderators will sooner just ban you from the site if that is the course of action you wish to take. I will instead offer my hand in welcome and hope that things can go better between us in the future and so that we can all live happily on this board together.

From pictures on another website it seems that they are keeping Shockwave's queue house. Wont it seem kind of odd to walk through the queue house of a ride that isnt there anymore?
KrazyKoaster:
As people ahbe told you already, There will be no 5 hour wait. Trust me, I know
Second off, that is a good thing to house the line through SW queue house. That can hold a great deal of people.

I think there will be close to a 5 hour line. Remember Batman when it opened. I remember standing in close to a 5 hour line. I remember this past summer Batman had a 3 hour line and the park wasn't that crowded. Wait til the park is packed. I'm there 5 days a week (if you know what I mean). I see what happens at the park.
Shockwave's queue house is small. It couldn't even hold Shockwave's line when the park was packed many years ago. But since you know, lets just see what happens.
