Say good bye too, Geuga Lakes Free Fall!

Spare parts, that's right.

So any ideas what's going in it's spot? There is not much room there. A swing maybe? ;-)

Well, at the NEO ACE Winter Celebration, Bill Sphen hinted that there was more news to be had at GL this year, but that he couldn't divulge it yet. There's not much space where MHNF was, but there is a lot of space where the old Wave pool still sits, and with the opening of the new wave pool I doubt that one will ever get used again. There is a lot of space in the southwest corner where that sits once you take it out.

Well that's the beauty of it. If you like it you can use it. If you don't like it then don't. You can't please everyone. And to be honest, you are the first one to complain. You'll run your site the way you want, I'll run mine the way I want.

Ummm, I'm the only one who didn't complain about the sizing of your pics.

Just trying to help in pointing out the fact that telling people how to browse doesn't seem like the best method in dealing with the complaints about your pics.

i like them hi-res (i want to see everything i can get, why cut out a billion pixels if i can have them -- i'll resize them myself if i want to)... and i also hate the auto re-size feature...

i win. :)

I don't see what the big deal is. If you all have high spped as you claim and the pics are loading as fast as you say, then the autoresize would be working just as fast. By having ie auto size it, the majority of people who don't care about the hi-res will get the pic to fil the screen, and the people who want to see more detail can either re-enlarge it or just not use the A.R.

Personaly I really don't care what you think. No Offense, but I won't be changing it anytime soon.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Auto-resize is defaulted to "On", so anyone who has intentialy turned it off is getting exactly what they asked for, higher resolution pictures. If you don't want to take advantage of the features available to you, that's not my problem. *** Edited 1/29/2006 11:59:30 PM UTC by Jason Hammond***

Here's another tip.

Never get into public relations. ;)

Every time I went to SFO/SFWoA/Geauga Lake this ride was not working. I never saw the thing even be test run. Knowing it's past history at its prior location as "The Edge" and seeing that they always had problems with it I probably would not have ridden it anyhow, so it won't be missed by me.

Nor will I miss it. I went to GL 3 times this year, all 3 times it was down all day. In fact, I have never ridden it, even when 6 Flags had it. It was down a lot with them too.
