Rumors boil towards "Inferno" to PKI...

I believe he has connections in the marketing department which of course would know because the GM would look at possible marketing strategies for the ride.

This guy also gave hints about the lap bars on FOF first, the 2001 Nick Central Attractions, AND Vortex painting. That is alot of stuff to just guess right so this guy is a very very credible source. He also just dosent come out and tells us. He gives us clues that even if you figure them out, your not totally postive.

Well, I`m sure to miss probably more clues, and speculation on PKI`s new ride as I leave on vacation tomorrow and won`t get back until the last day in June. At least then, there are only two days until the scheduled anouncement. I`ll have fun at Myrtle Beach and Paramount`s Carowinds though. I really, other than the "inferno" rumor, have no clue what they could be adding for their 30th anniversary.

I agree coastersrz. I have absolutely no clue what they could be getting so, that's great that PKI has kept everything so under wraps. Maybe inferno was a decoy for something we least expect. I know whatever it is, they will blow us away for the 30th year in a row. They have yet to disappoint me. I don't think they're about to start.

And Shaggy is definitely the best sourse out of PKI itself. But he's not going to give it up that easily.

More clues! On the other site, he said some more clues for PKI`s new ride are "Iceland" and "Cambodia." To me, Iceland is the opposite of an inferno. It looks like we only have to wait a little longer for the anouncement on July 2. This is my last post until next Saturday! I`m sure I`ll have a lot of stuff to catch up on!

"I live in cincinnati, Ohio and on Saturday June 16 around 9:00a.m i was driving up I-71 which is the way to PKI and i was behind a semi-truck which was carring a bright blue and orange steel track that turned into PKI's parking lot and then went behind a couple of personel doors. As I starting thinking i went and rode the Beast and were the old water ride was there was the semi-truck..."

I know that it's from Thrillride, but has anyone seen this so called track at the park? It doesn't say what the track is shaped like. It could be B&M, Vekoma, Arrow, Intamin,.........:)

Hmmm....I'm doubting this 'blue and orange' track thing. Why put in a coaster that is almost identical in color to one that's already in the park? I'd think they'd use a different color scheme....

Iceland and Cambodia? That rumor has a water coaster themed to Tomb Raider written all over it. I think? The Tomb Raider parts true if he's correct though.

I think we all know better than to believe the "blue and orange track" thing. First of all, they sure wouldn't drive a semi back to the KCKC site. Let alone in the middle of an operating day less than two weeks from an announcement.

Two, they wouldn't use more blue and orange track.

Third, one of us coasterbuzzers would have seen it.

hey maybe in the move TOMB RAIDER (i havent seen it) maybe lara croft was in iceland and cambodia.. hmmm good clue

I was up at PKI on Thursday and I do not remember seeing anything but mud on the KCKC site. I think this rumor is not correct.

All I can say is Amen Coasterville Dave, Amen. PKI needs more flat rides, and a new themed area behind the racer would be nice, however it would be interesting to see how one would get to it. PKI needs big kid flat rides, not just one, but many. Drop Zone can not fill the void forever, so I would not be surprised to see many flat rides show up in the coming years.

They can utilize the FoF entrance which goes under the Racer's lifthill and expand around the FoF area.

When waiting in line for FoF this year (2 HOURS!!)
I noticed how u could take out the helicopter que line and the helicopter landing pad and there is a whole big nice area to expand into.

To the right isn't pretty (Bunch of warehouses) but with landscaping and repainting of buildings you could have a whole nice expanded ALIEN/Future area if wished.

But im sure that is part of the service roads and if u continue straight you run into the camping area.
