Rules of Counting Roller Coasters

I go out for a long lunch and bASS, moosh, and andy have their handles and spouts out. What kind of place is this anyway?
The kind of place where you normally spend your lunchtimes dawn ;).

Please, I always take lunch away from the office. I need a little time to relax from my rough days at work. ;)

That's not true, Moosh. I know we both agree Nasai is...ga...bi-se...hom...

Bass, I read that and read that and I just didn't get it. For the longest time I looked at it as Gabisehon, which is close to the Japanese word for 'envelope.' LOL! So, of course, that confused me even more. Then I realized what you were getting at, and wow! I am confused, as Moosh would say.

BTW, I count 'em like Moosh and Bass.

Divide the time spent in line by the time spent on the ride to find out how many 'counts' the ride is worth. Deja Vu is good for 100 most of the time, X may get you over the 500 mark.
Moosh, you forgot a couple...

Relocated coasters count as 3 every 4th Wednesday of the month.

Coasters that get renamed, but stay in the same park, get counted again.

Then there's some I need to clarify...

Are orange coasters counted differently?

Do you count a coaster if someone else has a dream of you on it?

What if you see pictures of coasters?

Any coaster train that runs without a motor, should not be counted as a coaster... ;)

People complain about clones, yet can't even come up with original conversation, which is ten times worse.

Niomosy, each picture you look at counts as 1/100th of a ride. Each picture you take, 1/50th.

The other night went grocery shopping for my wife. When was taking my cart full of bags to the car, I stood on the back of it and let it roll down the ramp from the walk way in front of the store to the parking lot.

I added this to my coaster count as 1/32nd of a coaster.

------------------
Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

Sometimes I just take my hands off the wheel of my car and let the car follow the road. Depending on the grade and bumpiness of the road, this ranks as anywhere from 1/100 to 1/2.

Moosh, your first post was hilarious.

I guess we should count water slides because rct2 counts them as coasters.

SLFAKE, I've lost count of the number of times I've done that. Damn, now my track record is all screwed up...

count racers once, duelers with individually named tracks (Fire/Ice) twice

This is the most logical resolution to this debate that I've seen. If someone took the time to name both tracks, I can count it twice. I like it!

So the American Eagle at SFGAm DOES count as two...they named one side red and the other side blue. (Hey you didn't say they had to be good names, Dawn!) ;) ;)

No, red and blue simply aren't names, just adjectives.

Hey, wait a second, we weren't supposed to get serious!

Add 1/100 for every vital statistic (height, length, ect.) you can name from memory for a given ride.

(SF)GreatAmerican...

I know of quite a people whose name (or Nickname) include Red or Blue... Two of which are Johnny "Red" Kerr (former NBA Player, Manager, Bulls radio announcer) and Vida Blue (ex-baseball player)

But is blue or red their whole name? No.

Red or Blue is not the whole name for the ride either...One side is Red Eagle...the other is Blue Eagle... ;)

Nope. The sign says "blue backwards," not "Blue Eagle backwards."
