Rides that actually 'thrilled' you?

I don't get scared often, but it has happened on occasion. However I feel "thrilling" is different, so I'm also going to define what experiences of mine have been scary and what have been thrilling:

Scary - 300' Skycoaster, Kissimee. Man, that was a long way up!

Thrilling - launch on first ride of Xcelerator. It still thrills me, but that first time was unforgettable.

Scary - my first ride on Millie was in the very back seat, at about 10pm. It was dark and I couldn't see the track or bottom of the first drop and it felt like falling into an abyss.

Thrilling - Kennywood's Intamin drop tower, the tallest I've ridden [despite three visits to PKI...grrrr!]

Scary - oddly, my third visit to Knott's Scary Farm. It was the first time I'd actually gotten a few good scares from the ghouls in the mazes and on the rides. I'm hooked.

Thrilling - every ride I take on Raven, Cornball, Legend, SFNE's Superman, X, and just about every coaster I continue to ride except for those that are at the very bottom of my lists.

Scary - the moment my seat inverted on SFMM's S&S Thrillshot.

I'm sure there are more....

Cornball "thrilled" me.....M:TR, that's just plain scary...;).

bill, still bummed that SFMM's Thrillshot was closed both during the Con and on the more recent left-coast swing....

Power Tower pre-launch up and Drop Zone pre-drop. Those were my scariest moments.

Six Flags Worlds of Adventure Online

First ride on Big Shot at the Strat...

Also riding Colossus backwards and in the dark during fright fest!

-----------------
"ok everyone go ahead and pull down on your shoulder restraint so you feel nice and stuck!"

For me, Knott's VertiGO was easily the most thrilling. There is something disconcerting about plugging your restraints into the vehicle, then flipping facedown.... :)

After so many rides, Supreme Scream still gives a good thrill. More so when the restraints are a little loose. I'm not a big drop rides fan, but I know that Acrophobia or the SpaceShot side of Power Tower would scare me the first time.

As for most coasters, I am usually having too much fun to be scared. Millie did make me somewhat nervous my first ride, but that didn't last long!

My biggest thrill which I still havent tried at any amusement parks is the rip cord. I just still cant get on waiting for the thrilling ride to come ;).

There are plenty of coasters that thrill me, (MF, Nitro, Phoenix, Raven) but only one has really scared me. What gets the honor? The William's Grove Cyclone. That is the scariest coaster I have ever ridden because it seems like every ride would be its last, it is a rickety little old coaster that flies down its track, the restrants just barely holding you in. That is a scary ride.

Load up on guns brings your friends its fun to lose to pretend...

Millennium Force for the first time was one of the most thrilling rides of my life. I remember it perfectly. Wow, that was awesome.

The top 3 all time cobrarolls.

1)Raptor's
2)Deja Vu's (times 3)
3)Batman Knight Flight's

The year Hercules opened at Dorney Park, I was 7 years old and it was my very first coaster. No one in my family was brave enough to go on with me. The drop seemed so long I almost peed my pants. It was soooo thrilling to me at the time. Maybe the most thrilling experience I can remember. (Today, it seems more like an accident though...not sure if you will make it back to the station ya know?)

More recently, my first shot down on Power Tower at Cedar Point in the dark scared me to death (maybe 4 years ago).

Any sort of Demon Drop ride at Cedar Point, or the one at Sif Flags Great Adventure scares the CRAP out of me because I feel like I could die at anytime. That sort of feeling thrills me very much.

No coasters really ever "thrilled" me to the point of total amazement, but I have many, many more to ride yet. [Millennium Force to me was more of a wee that was fun kind of thing, I love it though trust me (no flames please :o)] CP's #16 could be a likely candidate if it turns out to be really really high and fast.

OK, let me rephrase my post.

The only ride I've screamed in terror on was Wicked Twister in the back seat, May 26, when it was running ALL THE WAY! Getting... erm... screwed in the rear was just AWESOME.

Drop Zone @ PKI is very scary, but not as scary as Wicked Twister... http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/PKI/Will/PKI06sp.jpg

You have no idea. This tower is MASSIVE. It's almost as tall as Millennium Force. (5' shorter) I mean, Oh my God! To get a good idea from this pic, look down at the seats, they're tiny!!!

Eh. Wicked Twister was just thick icing for me among the other rides at Cedar Point. Wicked Twister is in no way "scary." But it is definetely a very fun and exhilerating ride. And Drop Zone Stunt Tower (Kings Island) is taller than Millennium Force by the way, by five feet.

Believe it or not the first ride to Thrill me( I was Young) was the Ultratwister when it was at SFGadv.

Since then Pitfall at KW, Dropzone at PKI, Hypersonic at PKD, and any B&M Hyper.

Biggest thrill Getting stuck for 15 minutes in the shaft on Tower of Terror. I've never been so amused by people freaking out.

Most non thrilling any S&S Tower.
