Vertigo at CP. RIP...but return soon!!!
I would love to ride that thing again, it's the only ride I've ever got off of and I was trembling with the adrenaline.
I don't think sky coasters are that thrilling, they are kind of fun however. I've done CP's and the one at Indiana Beach.

Rip Cord at CP is at the top of my list of rides that scares me to death (only because I was too chicken to do the Big Shot on the Strat). Power Tower drop still scares me.
As for thrilling, MF always thrills me. So does Deja Vu at SFGAm.

Bomb Bay at Wet'n'Wild Orlando, especially when you step in for the first time and don't really know what to expect.
I thought I get a second to get ready or a countdown or something but I just got droped. Very cool.
What is a 'thrilling' ride? One that actually scares you? Let's see...
There was Cyclop's midcourse drop this June and the Gemini. You heard me. The Gemini. Oh, wait a minute, that was in 1979.
By my definition of thrill--a very, very good time--there's just too many experiences to list here. I will attempt rustle together a 'top five'...
5) My first visit to IB--wow. Does an amusement park get any more authentic than this? Is that even possible?
4) First visit to MA. MA above IB? Big Chief's killer CCI combo? Lake Compounce? Well, for me it was my first visit to a small park. There wouldn't have been any visits to the other gems if I hadn't been here first.
3) Kumba at night with CBaby--looping and frenetically twisting in a loose train on a cool night as my fingertips grazed palm fronds
2) My first Montu ride--whipping over the train just as the engineer lets out a 'toot' and feeling the heat from the steam on my legs. I think that was the moment it became CBaby's #1 ride.
1) Da 'Midget opening her eyes halfway through her first ride on DT, leting go of my arm and screaming at the top of her little 5 year-old lungs for fun. From that moment, the rules changed for all time...

The CPlaya 100--6 days, 9 parks, 47 coasters, 2037 miles and a winner.....LoCoSuMo.
hmmmm...
What scared me...
My First Hyper Coaster (Apollos Chariot) scared the crap out of me.
Millennium Force scared the crap out of me too, the forst time I went on it was so scary, i was holding onto the lapbar so hard... needless to say I had to go on it again
My First Inverted coaster (Mind Eraser @ SFDL) was pretty scary without anything underneith me.
My first ride on Power Tower was the scariest ride I've ever been on. I've been on other drop towers before, but this one was different. I went on that again too

Rides that actually scare me:
VertiGo at Knott's- Just the fact that you are resterened by almost nothing.
Deja Vu- Going backwards steight up is a very unerving expeirce.
Something about Freefall at Magic Mountain made me get nervous. The 2nd Generation Intamin drop rides that I have been on don't do much for me.It all comes down to annticipation.

Count dooku episode II
I can still remember my first ride on Magnum in 1989 at the age of 15. It broke down while we were in line, but we decided to stick it out and only ended up waiting about an hour total because most of the people in front of us bailed. Not knowing anything about coasters because my experience until that point was Dorney and Hershey, I had no idea what I was in for. I was extremely tense as we started up the hill, but as we bottomed out on the first drop, the tension gave in to that joy that only enthusiasts know, and I've been addicted ever since.

OK, let me rephrase my post.
The only ride I've screamed in terror on was Wicked Twister in the back seat, May 26, when it was running ALL THE WAY! Getting... erm... screwed in the rear was just AWESOME.

Drop Zone @ PKI is very scary, but not as scary as Wicked Twister... http://www.coastertown.com/Paramount/PKI/Will/PKI06sp.jpg
You have no idea. This tower is MASSIVE. It's almost as tall as Millennium Force. (5' shorter) I mean, Oh my God! To get a good idea from this pic, look down at the seats, they're tiny!!!
Not to be a jerk, but I'm pretty sure Drop Zone is five feet taller than MF, not shorter.
It's been a long, long time since I've actually been scared on a ride. Probably the last time was my first second-gen Intamin drop ride (Pittfall) in 1997, I believe.

A day is a drop of water in the ocean of eternity. A week is seven drops.
Finally getting in that seat and going up that first hill on MForce I was *really* feeling the butterflies. It was an amazing ride and has been every time since.

I can NOT open my eyes on the helix at the end of XFlight. If I do, the train will slam into the ground, and that's scary.
And it's always a little hard for me to walk after I get off a drop ride...

Santa Claus rocks my world
Two coasters this summer scared the living daylights out of me (and I will ride them over and over again!) like none other have in my entire history of riding coasters.
The first was Mr. Freeze at SFStl. I was nervous about going on this ride even before I left my home to make the 7 hour drive to Saint Louis. And then I had to watch it twice for one and a half hours each time on my Saturday only to have the ride break down when I was at the gates to be the next rider. When I finally rode it the next day my heart felt like it was going to beat out of my chest as the platform slid over to the launch tube. I remember screaming "OH S**T" as we headed up the spike and felt a wave of panic overcome me as the train actually sped up as it went up the spike momentarily. I remember the panic returning on the return trip as we got the incredible hangtime in the tophat. I had to sit down for a half hour so that my heart would stop beating so hard after getting off of the ride. After that I rode another 5 times!
V2 was the other one. V2 was my first impulse coaster. After having some of the worst luck with impulses over the last two years with SUE, WT, and V2 all being closed with every visit, I finally got to ride V2. Again this was a coaster I was dreading. But once I hit the back spike the first time I knew that I had found a great coaster to ride. After getting off I was shaking like a leaf and screaming woo hoo and making a general ass out of myself. But that was OK because I felt like I had conquered the world. I felt so good. I even got one of those temporary tatoos which I never ever do just because it was the Kanji symbol for COURAGE.
