Rides that actually 'thrilled' you?

Xtreme Flyer @ PKD. Doesn't look all that high from the ground, but when you get up there...AHHHHH!

I know PKD's Gyro Drop is gonna scare the $hit out of me :-/

I'd go with any drop ride, scares me, Drop Zone at PKi was definatly one where all I could think of was why was I doing this, that and Millenium Force. Another ride that definatly had me thrilled was Tomb Raider, theming was scary and the movie ever scared me

The Jokes on You!! Ha Ha

I'm not sure that thrilled and scared are quite the same thing, but my top 2:

The first drop on MF.

The third hill on Phoenix.

The Xtreme Skyflyer at Carowinds is pretty scary once you actually get up there, as far as thrilling, that first drop on Millennium Force was about as thrilling as they come

Xtreme Skyflyer @ PKD.

Also Dr. Doom's Fearfall @ IoA(my first space shot).

#1-MF #2-Apollo's Chariot #3-S:RoS

-Why a car if i could have a coaster train on wheels??

Katunga beside Wet & Wild in Orlando is the single scariest thing I have ever done. I think it is known as a Skyscraper.

Other then that, there are a lot af rides that "thrill" me even after riding them countless times. My list would be much to long.

The old Intamin freefall rides still scare me. They actually *scare* me more than say, the Drop Zone or any S&S Towers, which those are more exhilarating than anything. Well, the old Intamin freefall rides cause the most anxiety. They are just so old and eerie and some make those horrible banging and knocking sounds that you hear in horror movies.

I do have to say I thought my heart was going to bust out of my chest the first times on Xcelerator and Hypersonic......WHEW!!!!!

Now most Carni rides scare the hell out of me and I will usually pass on them (something about putting your life in the hands of a contraption that is torn down and put back up day after day).

Also, my very first time on a Skycoaster (CP) and a Sling Shot (PKI) OMG!!!!!!!!!

The only rides that thrilled me was Deja Vu and Rock'n'Rollercoaster.

If you don't have anything nice to say don't say ANYTHING at all.

Any snappable set of Flyers!

Still a thrill and still kinda scary to me :)

Is it about coasters or friends? I say both!

The first time I rode Scream Machine. Going down the first drop I said to myself, self, can life get any sweeter?

The highest coaster I've ever been on it 230 ft. and it wasn't scary at all. My question is, with the 325 ft. S:ToP coming to SFoT, what rides/coasters have actually thrilled you?

Ok I'v missed somthing, What new coaster and what is it called and what are the stats????

Oh, and the scarryst(sp?) ride i've been on it the Giant Drop, gotta love the drop rides!!!

Dropfreak, the ride being referenced here is Superman:Tower of Power, which apparently will be quite the S&S "thriller"...not a coaster though.

dexter, Katanga is a GravityWorks Skyscraper...and it IS a "thrilling" ride as well...have yet to get on a Zamperla model (think they're marketed under the name Turbo Force)....

Slingshot probably scared me even more than Skycoaster, and X was definitely the one "coaster" that could STILL scare me. As far as shot/drop rides, PKI's takes the prize for me...

edit: D'oh...Big Shot pics just came back....reminded me what fear of heights looks like, lol

Yikes. Supreme Scream for the first time. Scared the ____ out of me. No other ride has done that to me ever before. That includes Millennium Force, Power Tower (weird, huh), The Big Shot, Drop Zone Stunt Tower, and X.

V2 the first time i rode it...i came off of it actually SHAKING it was so amazing.

MF every time i ride it is thrilling, if only because i always find a first-time rider and sit near them...makes it even more fun than it already is.

Thanks for SAVING THE WHIZZER!! it couldn't happen to a better ride...

The first time I rode Drop Zone was the last time any ride thrilled me. They're all still fun, but they just don't thrill me anymore. Maybe I should bungee jump or skydive.

smile...it's cheap, and people will wonder what you're up to. :)

Big Shot at the Stratosphere Tower...INCREDIBLE :)

Kennywood's Skycoaster scared the **** out of me when I rode it with my little brother. I was so scared that I he pulled the cord. I'm only 15 and he's only 12. As we went up backward, people were looking at us and waving as we looked down. The lake also scared me because I thought we were going to crash right into it.

Millennium Force is the only coaster I've ridden that actucally maded me not want to ride it at all. But I got over that filling and rode it 5 times. My heart was pounting like 150 times a minutes as we went up the first hill that fast and quiet.

The Pittfall at kennywood thrilled me and scared me at the same time. So did Power Tower at Cedar Point.

X is the only coaster that has honestly scared me. Sitting in that first row looking down without anything above or below you. That first drop made me scream for the first time in fear on a roller coaster.

PittFall definitely scared me the first time I rode it, still does occasionally (when its my first ride in a few weeks or something).

Demon Drop actually scares me too, cause as mentioned before, 1st gens make so much noise, and just the orientation of Demon Drop where you can't see all the stuff in the park that towers over it makes the experience a little better (plus that day I was really bummed at how un-thrilling Power Tower was compared to PittFall)

Any other major new type of coaster scares me the first time too - Millie had me shaking, S:UE had me whimpering, XFlight had my heart racing. But that's the feeling I live for - those types don't scare me as much (if at all) anymore but its fun to remember how scared I was the first time I got on. And I know that Top Hat: The Ride (my favorite name for it yet ;) ) will have me wanting my mommy the first time ...

Without a doubt SFA's skycoaster, even after riding it three or four times it still scares the mess outta me.
