ride-op classic quotes

One of my favorites was back in 1998 at CP when GW was still where MF's turn is...we were waiting in line for the CPLE Railroad or sonmething and the op on GW said "Welcome to the GIANT WHHEEEEEEELLLLL!!".

We laughed and laughed and every once in a while we will just say that for no reason at all.

MisterX....."thanks for riding GASM and enjoy the rest of your day here at Wally World"....thanks, MisterX, certainly puit a smile on my face.....

Thank you, I also enjoy telling people GASM has one loop, and they freak out and say "NOT IT DOES NOT!" And I say "yes it does... the train leaves the station and comes back making one big loop."

Crowd: "Booo...."

Buccaneer (Swinging Pirate Shipe) at SFGAdv:

while ride is in swinging:

"Do you guys wanna go upsidedown?"

"YEAAA!"

"Then you should head on over to Medusa."

One time on Tower of Doom at SFA the operator went around to our car and asked us to open our hands to see if we had anything. She said, "Please do not drop pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters, but feel free to drop fives, tens, twenties, or hundreds."

Joker's Jinx at SFA - "5...4...3...(launch)"

"If you want to go put your hands up..(launch)

I was SFEG the other day and the ride op said Mind Eraser went 75 mph. Now unless I am missing something I believe the top speed is 55mph. It is a SLC for anyone who has never been to SFEG.

"I don't sit on your dining room table, please don't sit on my silver handrails" Shockwave @ SFGAm

"Prepare for launch" V2 @ SGFAm

And one more, even though its not a ride op actulally saying it, but I couldn't resist

"Howdy Folks! Please remain seated with you hands and arms inside the train. Hang on to them personal belongings, especially hats and glasses, cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!" Big Thunder Mountain @ Magic Kingdom

At SFGAm "And enjoy your 75 mph. trip on Viper!"

"You can't kill what's stronger than death" - Zakk Wylde

The first time I rode S:ROS at SFNE it was raining real hard. As I'm boarding the train, the ride op says "I just want to remind you all that going 80mph in a driving rain is going to be rather painful" We all had a good laugh over that
on westcoaster at Pacific Park, "Thank you for riding Colossus at Six Flags California"

HurricaneGeauga- Just in case

“Howdy folks! Please keep your hands and arms inside the train, and remain seated at all times. Now then, hang on to them hats and glasses, ’cause this here’s the wildest ride in the wilderness!”

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Disneyland/World

Not really a ride op but my a good coaster quote. Its great with the old guys squeaky voice

In line for the Boss the op said "If you vomit, I will vomit also so please do not vomit."

"Welcome back blue train, how was your ride?" "Boooo" -Blue Streak

On iron dragon "We'll take you up a whopping 78 feet. Hang on tight and enjoy your ride on the Magnum." Train begins to leave, "I mean the Iron Dragon"

I hate it when i have a ride op that is from a foreign country and you cant understand them because their accent is so thick.
Raptor Green better than Millennium Blue, well see you back in 2:32
Well the River Cruse at Magic Kindom is really funny. They say so many jokes, and they were all funny. The sad part is that I cant remember any of them.

Yea, the crews at CP last year got yelled at for dissing the other rides in the park. ;) Seems like every year when I go to visit they always do it. Then at some point it gets out of control, someone whines and it stops. Its all in good fun. Everyone knows Magnum is the best anyway... ;)

On one of those river rapids rides, i was in the station when i heard someone ask "where should i sit so i dont get wet?" The op answered, "in the front seat." It's also funny when the kids ask how to turn the boats, and the parents end up believeing the ops!

smile...it's cheap, and people will wonder what you're up to. :)

At SFEG on Sidewinder while I am working as attendant:

J.- Welcome to Sidewinder. This ride will launch you at 1000 mph, drop you a mile, and then turn you upide down eight times. I know you can only see one loop, ut you do you upside down eight times.

Sidwinder is an Arrow Shuttle, so it was kind of funny.

"Attention all Time Travel Commitee Members; the reasearch and development meeting will take place last friday at O-Three-Hundred hours. Do not be late."

At Cedar Point:

"Here at Cedar Point we have over 100 rides and attractions!!, unfortuntly the hand rails are not one of them"

On the Cedar Creek Mine Ride:

"Welcome back riders! How was your ride?" *entire train cheers loudly* "How many of you are lying?" *silence.*

I wish I could remember more. *sigh*
