an operator operating the Cedar Creek Mine Ride was saying "We will send u to the creek at speeds of rather meek" and he told us that when he asked the riders how they liked the ride he said the claps sounded like a golf tournament

There was this extremely funny ride op on SFGAdv Chiller, and he said, everyone put your hands up so i can count how many people are on the train. Everyone put their hands up and whoosh, they were gone in a sec.

On Greezed Lightnin at SFAW one of the crazy op. said something really funny...Picture this...The train just arrived back in the station....

ride-op: yall wanna go again?

people in the train: YEAH!

ride-op: Ok! 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1.....CLICK! Then the lap bars went up.

I guess you just had to be there. LOL

I can't wait to hear the Deja Vu ones. It'll probably be something like, "Welcome Back, Again." or "You wanna go again?" "Yeah!" "Well you've already done it twice, what more do you want?"

X's will be awesome. I can't think of anything clever though. I'm no marketing person or whatever. I'm a straight out math and science kind of guy. I'm trying to stay away from the business stuff.

it wasn't exactly a ride, but when we went to teh Space Needle in Seattle, we had a cool elevator operator on the way down. He said : "HI, my name's Mike. You may remember me from other elevator trips such as, up!."

This was either back in 97 or 98 when Windjammer @ Knott's was still running. I was actually pretty bewildered to hear such a thing from the ride op. "Enjoy your ride on Knott's Windjammer, and watch your head while you're at it." You should've seen the look on people's faces after that, they were like, "erf?", but I suppose they understood what she meant after they rode it.

A few years ago on the Steel Phantom at Kennywood a ride operator would say "Thank you for riding the Steel Phantom. And for more high speed thrills, ride The Turtle."

bit0mike, that was me that said that one at CCMR at Coastermania lol.

A lot of other Mine Ride ones could quite possibly have been me as well. Or Criss, I think he posts on here too.

One of my personal favorites will be in the beginning of the season those Cedar Creek Mine Ride guys saying, "Enjoy your day at Cedar Point, home of 3 of the top 4 steel coasters in the entire world, and the Mine Ride's.......not one of them." Course, when the new Amusement Today rankings came, they had to change it to 3 of the top 8, but it still never lost its flavor, eh Natalie?

The Ride-Ops yell at me alot on Bommerang. Gee I wonder why? I always climb and mess with the turnstiles and railings. Oh well!

Is it me, or do the ride ops at SFGAm seem humorless? I'd love it if they did this on V2 or something, it would make it just that much more fun, I'd be out of control.
