i didnt even bother reading the rests of the posts on this thread...cause Legend is perfect the way it is! reprofiling ANY part of that coaster would be like painting sunglasses on Mona Lisa or something...its a blessed work of art, leave it be! :)

I wonder, tho...how would we all be reacting if HW *were* to announce they were going to reprofile Legend or Raven? What if a portion of the ride were experiencing a high amount of wear and tear, like Ghostrider's former helix?

Would there be an outcry, or would we have faith that they'd do it right?

Their maintenance crew is among the best in the business ( if not THE best) and what they do every season to keep these two wooden masterpieces is top-notch. So, I am sure that, if it was tearing itself apart, HW would make sure that any repaired section would be as good as or better than the original. But, that being said, to reprofile - just for the sake of reprofililing - would be wrong...
