RCT3: Cape Typhoon Wish List

Since I have certain connections to Atari, and that the 'creation' phase of the project is starting to wind down, why not see what the hardcore community wants? :)

And I,as a beta tester, promise to hammer out as many bugs as I can. :)

If you have all these so called "connections", tell them to fix the absolute piece of s**t they released already before they add any more buggy crap to the market.

Certain victory.

I second you on that Bob - maybe instead of Cape Typhoon they should call it Frustration Station ;)

-Jim

LOL! I agree. Frustration Station has a ring to it! ;)

Like what? You have to be really specific when it comes to reporting bugs.

Eh its 8:30am im in class and im pretty damn bored, so im going to throw me 2cents of some idea’s in. Despite others complain about this and that, I’m gonna have some fun.

Triple Shot & Drop Tower S&S granted it's nothing new but I think it would be a cool touch if all 3 towers were connected at the top with the triangular peak.

Intamin box style supports not something you create out of scenery. Put already built in instead of the pole supports.

Premade Overbanked turn’s small, large, huge, not having to make your own that never turn out realistic and looks like crap.

Larger ½ corkscrews to make dive loop’s a little more realistic.

Stairs on lift hills of any coaster.

Catwalk’s placed in automatically on and brakerun installed.

Larger scale gift shops.

Just a few nitpicks on my mind.

LOL, bob. I third that!
People, he might have connections to Atari. I know I do.
I connect w/Atari via internet everytime I visit their site... ;)
I know after i bought and had trouble w/the game I wanted to seriously 'Connect' w/someone there. Just a little nonverbal communication, like a punch to the head.

I would love to be able to make an inverted top hat on the Rocket coaster!!!

Actually, give us an element design mode. This way we can design any element we want with any type of track.

If you want to continue being a beta tester you'll shut your hole about what you know.

You want specifics? YOU want specifics? You can't handle the specifics...

Son, we live in a world where software is supposed to be bug free. And those programs are patched if they don't work. Who's gonna do it? You? Lord Gonchar? I have a greater trouble running the game than you can possibly fathom. You cry for expansion packs with bigger taller coasters. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know: that most people can't run this freaking game. And my existence, while incomprehensible to you, is pretty much the norm among RCT gamers...You don't want the truth. Because deep down, in places you don't talk about at parties, you know the game is flawed. You know it's deeply flawed.
We use words like frame rates, protection faults, faulty physics...we use these words as the backbone to describe a game that shouldnt have been released without testing. You use 'em as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who blindly thinks that there are so few issues with this game that they can simply be enumerated! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest if you have these relations with Atari that you tell them how fed up their customers are. Either way, I don't give a damn about any expansion pack!

Certain victory.

Bob...step away from the TV and stop watching "A Few Good Men" endlessly... ;)

Just make sure they change that one line in the code from 'fun=0' to 'fun=1' :)

That should do it.

Sorry, *that* was one of the funniest things I've seen posted in a while. Thanks Bob!

Who ordered the CODE RED!!!!Nice post Bob, I love Few Good Men...you captured that nicely. But I will touch on the topic a little. Well you want to know some improvements.........BETTER FRAME RATES!!!!!!!
I agree totally, Evo. when a person has a AMD 64 4000+ with a nVidia 6800 GT OC and 2GB of ram yet still gets single digit frame rates, there is a serious problem...

So the consensus seems to be, get the game to work (or work well) before concentrating on additions.

Gold plating on crap just gets you gold plated crap.

Can you pass that along RCT Master?
