The Scream Machines Alliance: IntaminAG
www.screamsite.cjb.net
I dont want to repeat, but I'd say:
1) Some of the newer tracks and coaster types.
2) The ability to select smaller areas for your employees. I am tired of handyman X not getting back to his original area. because one or two squares are not ighlighted.
-----------------
1) Forget the ride your rides / front seat POV stuff. Keep it as close to possible to the old "look" of RCT.
2) MORE types of flat rides
3) There are enough Food and Drink selection... give a few Games-of-Chance... also some Show options
4) Entrances and exits that are not as "elaborate". For instance, many flat rides simply have a queue and an entrance and exit gate... not an elaborate "building" type of station.
5) SMARTER peeps... and peeps with a little more "nerve". Have some that think every thing faster than the "Car Ride" is "too intense", but have others who would even laugh at a NASA launch from the Cape as being for "weenies", and have most being somewhere in between the two extremes.
6) paths that can go diagonal (come on, they do it with the Minature RR tracks)
7) something woefully missing from the earlier version... Kiddie rides (hey, as much as we all love those big scream machines, every park needs a place for the wee ones to have fun too.)
8) Forget night time (the game is based on months, not days)... but give an "off Season" time when the park is closed so that major changes can be made and major construction can be done "between seasons" with out P-ing off the peeps who (being dumb as bricks in the current game) constantly are getting lost if you change a path (even temporairly dead end a path for construction or changes). Along with this, have an option to instantly close a section of the park or even the entire park when major changes are planned.
9) In the landscape department... somehow allow waterfalls. I get tired of my creeks all being one level or else having a "wall" between levels.
10) Ability to move the entrance of the park.
11) A way to "create your own" scenario with out the constraints of the game so you can just dream and build.
I guess your wish list all depends on how you look at the game. If you look it as a "coaster design game" then you could put in an argument for "transfer tracks", "block breaks", and all the other finer points of coaster workings.
If you look at it from an over all Park Design (like I do), then the finer points of the coasters are not quite as important (nor is the "front seat POV" feature... but the flat rides, kiddie rides, landscape, etc factors are. Hmmmmm... while RCT has "name recognition", might a name change to "Theme Park Tycoon" or (if Theme Park is too close to another game) "Amusement Park Tycoon" be more fitting?

Diving loop element for B&Ms and Arrows
(it can be a large and small diving half-loop)
Intiman style track and the opprotunity to make an impluse
Better banking options on all coasters
Trim Brakes not limiited to straight tracks
(so I can make Mean Streak)
Thats it for now
The ability to remove more than just one tree at a time when clearing a section of land, night time mode, lights on coasters, Intamin box track, different types of supports for coasters, the ability to make a tunnel that doesn't have to be underground(i.e. MF's tunnels), a bunch of flat rides so we don't have to duplicate them across the park, some different shops and restaurants, games(I'd simply croak if we get a ski-ball game or a ring toss or even a weight guessing game), and one that I haven't seen yet listed on any list anywhere....... WALKING VENDORS. They can sell those glow in the dark necklaces, cotton candy, lemonade, or other things that the shops sell.

He let the contents of the bottle do the thinking; can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding.
Back and fourth coasters like Wicked Twister.
Better Employees like Den said.
Turns like the ones on Millennium Force.
Double Ferris Wheel, Gravitron, and Arcades
Braver Guests
Different kinds of inversions.
Thats some stuff i thought of
I dont know if anyone remembers the old Disney game, simply called coaster, but, I would love to see the coaster editing abilities in that game, put in RCT II. You still had limitations, but, you could bank the turns as much or as little as you wanted. And drops, you could change the angle as much or as little as you wanted. It had set elements in it, like the turns sharp, medium, wide, and then the inversions. That would be the best editor for RCT II. Other than that.
Coasters: Be able to pick an engineering firm to build with. Then when you pick the firm, you get to choose from the types of coasters they make (i.e. Intamin, Hyper, Giga, Impulse, Reverse Freefall, LIM lauch [inverted and regular]) then you just design how you want that type of coaster to look.
Flat Rides: pretty self explanitory
Theming: Be able to make the trees big or small. Then do something like the Sims, you could make any object for your house. This way there are no specific types of theming to choose from.
Building: Instead of having seperate types of shops and stalls, be able to build a large building with all those shops in it.
Im highly doubting that much of this will happen, but it would be awsome if it did.

Somedays it's just not worth chewing through the restraints.
Alot of those ideas are cool, but I want those dang water rides to go faster, i am tired of building a medium sized flume, and it taking 11 minutes for it to complete.
-----------------
Welcome one and all, y'all come have a ball!
Things a bear-y fine, ridin' on the old Knott's bear-y line!
Steep Log Flume Drops- Like Splash Mountain
faster lifts for water rides
Parking Lots and trams to the park entrance
Men, Women and Children in the game
More Flat Rides...
Animatronic things for rides, like animatronic animals or woodcutters, etc.

Xcelerator-
