(Wow...100 posts without a single negative comment!!!)
(sorry, I couldn't resist the pun :) )
the pride event is from 5:30 fri evening til midnight, I think. really a great time, hardly a line anywhere. gay bands, drag shows, last year they had the finals for a regional "idol" competion with Flaggots Ohio performing afterwards.
Go if you can. Season passes are, of course, no good.

I am planning on going to PPP, but I will be bringing a group of "straights", and an 11 year old who thinks "gay" means "stupid", lol.
I thought "gay" meant "happy". lol. My bad. ;-)
Tiggerman, I know what you look like now, and I will be stalking you, as well as Dexter. ;-)
Heheheh.

I really don't know what to wear. It takes me a half hour just to decide what toothpaste to buy, so It's going to take me Three years to decide what to be for PPP.
Dexter: half hour for toothpaste? Bah... you should see how long it takes me to pick out a shampoo. And I don't even have that much hair.

My usual fashion consultant is quite upset by this for some reason... ;)

Btw, my roomie and I are staying at the Millenium (made our reservations through AAA and saved a bunch over the Pride Night Price!) is this a nice place? And yes we will be going to Serpent afterwards and the Ren Fest the next day...
I could never love an Arrow!
And, btw, I think I suggested the entrance to the Beast @ 7 pm about 3 weeks ago as a meeting place. Good to know that we made it back here in one piece.
See you there!!

But what I think he's referring to is the Cincinnati Renaissance Festival.

I had a heck of a time trying to figure out what 'Ren Fest' was too. Thinking I was missing out on some 'Family' event. But what I think he's referring to is the Cincinnati Renaissance Festival.
Yes but due to my horrible spelling I decided to shorten it- so I didn't get 18 responses re: my spelling...
I could never love an Arrow!
I am innocent & naive you know. ;-)
Clothes? I hate shopping for clothes. Just ask my mother or any of my girlfriends. I hate shopping for clothes almost as much as I hate chocolate..... almost unheard of for a straight girl. ;-)
I am the Queen of comfort and casual wear.....Steve & Barry's, Dick's, and Wal-Mart are my best friends. :-)

I could never love an Arrow!
And it was a awesome night, though the SoB wasn't running and I only got to ride the Racer backwards once...front seat of the train, the rumble seat, a fav. Flight of Fear was even a near walk-on 2 laps on it. It did get cold later but at least it didn't rain toward the end like last year.
Maybe next time if anyone's 'really' interested they maybe willing to share a cell # in e-mail. Unless nobody here thinks it would be 'air-time minute' worthy to do so.
Sorry to have missed anybody who went. I hope those that did had as much fun as I did...you can't beat these private events for laps on rides.
rhydon,
Still had a great time though. And definitely will be there next year (hopefully as the gate opens).
What really made a difference is that some of the members of our gang were more of a 'bear type' then the others. So they really appreciated not having to wait 1-2 hours in line just to find out they were too big to ride. Even when they had trouble fitting in, the ride ops really went out of their way to try getting them on...and seemed truly sincere when it just wouldn't work out.
