Sometimes when I post a reply on the boards, it doesn't appear.
This is exactly what I do. I first type my reply into the big box. Next I click the "submit reply" button. A few seconds later the thread appears without my response. I even hit my refresh button and/or recheck it a few minuts later but it still doesn't show.
Am I doing something wrong?
No idea. It's not the site. I never have any problem.

Nope, RollerJunkie. Windows remembers my e-mail and password. I also have only used 1 account. I've always been dexter here. I do appreciate your help though.
And seederpoint (if that IS your real name), I KNOW who you are. Most of us do. I'm sure SOMEONE would love to give you some personal, one on one attention. Try Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Americia, your local YMCA, or a church youth group. One of these can really help you to mature into a pleasent young man who dosen't have a need to annoy people.
Seriously, dude. Ever sense the screen name change, for the most part, you have been doing all right. Don't move backwards. Consider this friendly advice from someone who truely cares about the youth of today.

I regret to inform you that Lakemont Park is my homepark.
Sorry, dexter, I was just trying to make one of those posts where everybody laughs: I failed :(

CedarPointN....i mean SeederPoint, we know who you are give it up, your not fooling anyone, your so annoying, and taking up space for the useless crap you type, just leave.
I guess Rctycoon2k isn't a fan of the simpsons ;)
Apology excepted.

Seriously RCtycoon2K, I admitted it like 3 days ago.
Open this. Read it all and read it hard. Really, really hard.
Thank you dexter.

::Breathes life back into this topic::
The same thing is happening with me now, too! Except instead of posting replies on the board, the regular site posts are not appearing! The last post I have from this site is the "Easter Egg Hunt" post. In school, I went online, and came to this site and was surprised to see all the new posts! For some reason, all of my home computers don't let me see the new posts. Is anyone else having this same problem?
EDIT: My bad. I guess it just didn't work the first time. The posts are now there! Forget what I said.

2 superheroes in Gurnee next season? Oh the humanity. :)
You might need to crank down your 'security' option a notch if you're using IE. I upgraded CBaby's box to IE 6 and had a similar problem with GTTP for a hot minute before changing it.

Dex,
We all get the point...We (and Jeff) fon't need a play-by-play every time your responses don't post. It appears that is is only happenning to you sporadically and it's not happening to anyone else with any frequency. It could be anything from a bad setting on your machine to packet loss from your machine to Jeff's server...Either way, it's a) impossible to trace and b) impossible for Jeff to fix

You're kidding, right Redman?
Back in my coding days, I used to pinpoint the errors my superiors called 'unifixable' and 'sporadic' specifically because I was willing to keep looking for the common parameters surrounding the elusive problem.
It still might be a Microsoft thing instead of anything to do with the code, or it could even a problem that never gets identfied, much less found. But that doesn't mean dexter shouldn't report his problems...that is, until Jeff tells him to shut up.
