podcast and Shout cast?

i loved your podcast but how about shoutcast shoutcast can brodcast live over the internet and recoard what you do on shoutcast and make it into a pod cast for people that miss it!

The whole point is that it doesn't have to be live. You can listen whenever you want. I have no interest in doing it live.

The point of a podcast is time shifting. That's the ENTIRE POINT (well, that and being trendy). A "live podcast" isn't a podcast. It's a radio show.

true. furthermore insted of downloading the pod cast why dont you just embed it onto a page and you go to that page and it starts playing on eather WMP or REAL 1 player.

Because the other entire point of a podcast is the ability to put it on your IPod and take it with you. Get it? Podcast. :)

Now the picture emerges.

Not forced to live by anyone else's schedule, download and enjoy radio shows at your own leisure and convenience.

To say nothing of the fact that all music players, or the ones that matter, play MP3, but not the others.

What we really need are FLAC files anyway. ;)
