PKI major announcement soon.

There's track from one end of the north parking lot to the other stacked three rows deep. I noticed trucks with supports arriving today.

If the footers are in place. It's just a jigsaw puzzle that should only take a couple months.

Id say by opening day they will be well into construction and probably testing in early may depending on the progress of the trains and of course. Paint job. It's all still green and black.

I plan to go to Geauga Lake Saturday morning and get some more deconstruction pictures.

Footers are being prepped now, but concrete shouldn't be poured probally for another couple weeks.

I don't know why people are thinking the lines will be outrageous, I have a feeling that Cedar Fair have come up with a more efficient plan to move people.

Also, does anybody know where the station will be located? I mean, will it be near the Flight of Fear, or will the coster be turned around so you have to walk underneith the ride to get to the station (like Carowinds from the main gate)?

We interrupt this program to bring you the following announcement. While we are not certain exactly whom has been trying to telegraph this message from a tropical island, we were able to pick up at least part of it. . .

"Please. I beg you. Let this thread end. . .and the ride begin. Soon. Help us. . .And I think it's time for everyone. . . to get laid."

Imagine the peace and serendipity that would flow through coasterbuzzworld if all of us chose the same day, the same hour, the same MINUTE, to get laid???!!!!

Why, there wouldn't be anything written on the "PKI Major Announcement Coming Soon" thread for at least, oh, 5 minutes!!!!

Now, there's a wild conceit.

Ah, hem. You may now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

^LMAO!
While I'm excited about this ride and glad others are as well, that was pretty damn funny.Good timing and word usage as well. I'm sure much would *flow* through the Coasterbuzz world. *** Edited 2/9/2007 8:52:35 AM UTC by P18***
^^^It all depends on how the park wants to orient the ride in relation to the midway.

I suspect that they'll want to present the more visually stunning aspects of the ride facing the midway so that guests can see it.

For first time riders a word of advice:avoid the outside left seat<any row> like the plauge if you want a smooth ride going through the inlines....I prefer the inside left myself.

So Barry, what was it you said was going in over by Face/Off?

RE: OhioStater

I got a friend who's 4'10. We rode Runaway Reptar together before, at Carowinds. She hated it, said it boxed her ears. I just thought it sucked mightily, but at 6'3 it didn't really hurt. Either way, the Jr. SLC is NOT world class.

As for the capacity, to yet again reference Carowinds, just don't plan to ride Firehawk this year. Carowinds is busier than GL, but not nearly as busy as KI, and I recall BORG pulling 2+ hr lines the first couple years. If you have the credit, skip it.

DOUBLE EDIT POWER! And Carowinds is the best Nick park, we have Flying Eag... Scooters! Nyah nyah :-P

The productions run faster than the prototype, if they use both stations they should do okay.
FYI, I've been to Carowinds and ridden BORG several times. I've gotten in line from near the entrance and it was no more than an hour with two trains, but I guess it depends on the crew. Getting rid of that damn single rider line helped a lot.

I haven't ridden it at PCar, but if a single-rider line is HURTING capacity...then you're improperly staffed. Employees are cheap, customers are valuable.... ;)

FL *rocks* single-rider lines... :)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

For those who are interested, I took new deconstruction pics of X-Flight at Geauga Lake today. :) They are making good progress. A ton of supports are gone, and I'd say they have more than enough taken down to start erecting Fire Hawk. It just depends on what order they want to assemble it in. Seeing as how most of what needs to be disassembled still is the lift hill, maybe they'll start at the station and work backwards. That way they can get started on the station house right away too.

Geauga Lake Today has some new photos up. Not much different than last week, with the lift, the turn after the lift, and the vertical loop still standing. However, it seems the monorail is all but gone already.

Dental Plan! Lisa Needs Braces.

From what I gathered in the CP repainting department, will we see the trains gettting repainted also? Thunderhawk at GL still has the same Teal Blue and Red trains running with the light yellow and orange track/support colors.
yes the trains will be repainted yellow and red.

Ride count on the Voyage: 40 Most consecutive rides on the Voyage: 36 Day after thigh bruises from airtime: Priceless
They're repainting the trains? All right! Another credit!
