PKI 2009

Why see it from the ground when you can see it from the sky? Also, there sure is alot of identical parts outside the Batavia Plant.

IMO it'll probably have something to do with a snake, and the only thing I can come up with would be Rattler. Already taken -- but albeit a decent name. One only hopes it's nothing like King Cobra: The Return.

Maybe they'll name it King Cobra ;^)

Laugh your troubles away at Riverview, the world's largest amusement park.
Yeah, just beat ya on that one. ;)

Two CF attractions promoted by 'the thing in the box' concept. This one and the WOF one....

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.
PKI also did the same "thing in the box" campaign back for Son of Beast.

Based on that hint, the teaser videos and info posted here - I'm guessing Space Cheetah: The Asthmatic Desert Lizard. ;)

Gonch, that's about what I was thinking. Or how about Godzilla's Spawn? LOL

I won't even probably get to go out to King's Island and I want to know more about this coaster. LOL I'm psyched!

I can only see the homepage countdown in IE, not Firefox. Anyone else have that problem?

I was actually having the opposite problem. I couldn't see the countdown on IE, but I could see it on Firefox.

Now I can see it on both.

One must suppose they're troubleshooting as we speak. :)

Great! Here we go again! I KNOW for sure it'll be a 500' dueling wood flyer... :P

Coaster Junkie from NH
I drive in & out of Boston, so I ride coasters to relax!

Well, the media invitation for the announcement just arrived to my desk. It is a 24" bolt with a tag hanging off of the top. The note says that this is the smallest bolt to be used in the "Rivertown 2009 Project"

That is a really neat invite.
I just got the email. "Think big. No. REAL BIG".

I am guessing we can say goodbye to the Beast being the longest coaster on earth...

Just a guess....

Fever I really enjoy the Simpsons. It's just a shame that I am starting to LOOK like Homer.

The Beast hasn't been the longest coaster on earth for a pretty long time.

Not to mention that we've had a rough layout since November, and then official confirmation of the layout since, and this coaster doesn't look anywhere near 8100+ feet long.

Think big. No. REAL BIG.

But not Sandusky big. Think only about half that size. :)

The rides name is going to be Behemoth just like CW's REAL BIG!

They already have the trademark. This isn't even difficult.

Chuck, who just hopes it's better than Nitro. That rides boring to me

Chuck - I feel the same about Nitro. Behemoth is no Nitro, lol.
