PKD Park Survey

http://www.parkfeedback.com/PKDRIDES05

Just follow the link above. Seems they have narrowed down their list of possible 2006/2007 attractions. Not too many new details on any of the concept that we haven't already seen. Fortunatly, ALL of the "Titanic" concepts are gone, which I think is a good idea. I'll just let those of you who take the survey see what's left for yourself. I don't want to say to much and be in any sort of violation with the terms of the survey or anything. Once again, this survey is SPECIFICALLY FOR PKD ONLY. There may be a similar/identical one for other Paramount parks, but the link above is JUST for PKD.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

Interesting survey. I hope if they do choose the Top-Gun like coaster that they call it a different name. It was cool when the movie was fresh in our minds, but now only ol' skool peoples are familiar with it. The soundwave coaster was my second choice. Seems like they are following in Disney's footsteps with RRC. Good times!
why are they still asking about the tomb raider attraction?

There are no bad coasters, only better coasters!!

My god, I've never seen a "professional" survey so full of spelling and grammatical errors. I also loved how the date they listed for the recent Italian Job film was only off by about ten years. Good job, Paramount.

after looking very closely at the artwork, i have a feeling the SoundWave coaster is actually a complete rethemeing of Flight of Fear. interesting idea if i turn out to be right....

anyway, i put down Top Gun and "Delirium" as my top two choices, although the sponge bob coaster sounds pretty fun too, hehe:)

still trying to think of a good signature...

I'm down for the SpongeBob ride as long as Mrs. Puff is sitting next to me ;).

Yay! Another survey where the park tells you what you want by asking you to select from a bunch of ideas that they came up with. Then when one of those rides gets built and people complain about it, all the Paramount fanboys and fangirls can tell people how the park simply responded to what the guests were asking for. Sounds like a foolproof idea to me.

And yeah, that's hardcore sarcasm.

Thank googness they got over all the Titanic stuff. I really vented on them about how tasteless I thought that was on the last survey.

I give them a lot more credit for coming up with ideas that fit their plans for the park, their design abilities, their budgets, and then seeing which one appeals to their audience best, rather than either leaving the audience completely out, or worse, asking the audience what they'd want starting from scratch and then horribly dissappointing everyone since what they come up with will inevitably be outside of the scope, budget, or future plans of the park.

I kind of like the retheme of Flight of Fear if for no other reason than it means a "new" attraction while still saving the budget for a new Top Gun Jet Coaster in '07 ;)

I don't disagree with all of their ideas, I just have a problem with these surveys leading people to certain decisions and then claiming that they simply listened to their guests' suggestions.
Just an off the wall thought, but perhaps SoundWave would be completely new, and FOF would be relocated to PCar or even PGA. Seems Paramount is more into relocating a lot lately.
Just finished & boy was that long but worth it.

Like VAcoasterfreak I also listed the giant frisbee & top gun coasters as two of my top choices for new additions to be considered for the park, although I did make a comment suggesting a floorless design as opposed to an invert seeing as they already have V:TBC.

I made sure that they understood that the only thing they could include in the stunt show that would make me interested in it is some airtime. I do want to live in a pineapple under the sea, and in the comments to management they found out that they need an Intamin hyper. As for the topspin, they were told that they needed some flipping action to make it interesting unlike the one at PKI. And I also got the impression that the music coaster was a revamp of FoF.

Anyone notice how the last ride option on the second page sound a lot like a a Vekoma tilt coaster?
I don't like Soundwave. It seems too much like a Rock N' Roller Coaster rip-off. Thank goodness they got rid of all that MTV branding, though.

I thought the top rides were Top Gun:TJC and the Delirium. That other Top Gun ride looked cool too. I also put in a high vote for the Italian Job coaster.

Is it just me or did they just add that Option 11 vekoma tilt coaster?
I thought that was a topspin.
Top Gun: Supersonic sounds so freaking awesome it's not even funny...

Here's one to hope that KI gets it before PKD.

Lemmie guess...TG:SS is a floorless coaster? if so then that's what I want.
Option 11 is a not a tilt coaster as far as I could understand. Its sounds like a really wild Maurer-Sohne X-Car coaster.
