PBR construction pics

I just hope they put in some good landscaping & theming.
the way they described the ride on the site it sounds like there will be some good landscaping and themeing.

I sure hope so,after the remarkable job they did on Batwing's midway the PBR midway should look just as good.

I know for the misters they are supposed to be themed to look like penquins,it'll be really interesting to see how they intend to pull that off.

Are the misters suppoe to be like Penguin's? I thought they were those pay .25 and squirt your friends, family and line jumpers with water.

LOL,now that's something I would actually be willing to pay money for.

Having the honor of blasting line jumpers with water would be the best 25 cents I ever spent but seriously from what I recall reading was that they were adding penquin themed or shaped misters or cannons to the chiller bay area of the ride.

There are several new pictures of the almost completed Penguin's Blizzard River at http://www.sfafans.org .
I was at SFA today & saw that PBR is now testing & man does that thing spin!

When it enters the first helix it's so tight that it spins like a teacup on steroids, the theming & landscaping is almost done & from what I heard from Sam Marks who was there watching the test runs,he said that the ride may be open by wednesday of the upcoming week. :)

I really think SFA has a really good thrill ride that an entire family can enjoy together & it should really do wonders for the park.

Eight new pictures of Penguin's Blizzard River at sfafans.org, mostly showing the themeing of the ride.
