"Get high With Me Cuz I'm Fly"
I noticed in one of the pics taken from the path leading to the oak grove picnic area that you can get a great view of the ride,I'm hoping they'll add some sort of spectator area along that path.
Slightly off topic there appears to be some work going on with Two face,in a pic posted at SFN there appear to be some orange/red parts sitting in the station, some say it's new covers for the restraints but I think it's either the seat backs or the bottom of the seats that are finally being replaced because they were starting to get a faded look to them.

I believe they are seat covers as well.
Does it seem odd that the lower half of the PBR queue is going diagonally in relation to the entrance from the midway? it's one of the weirdest entrance designs for a ride that I've seen so far, also there appear to be a couple of concrete pillars near the base of the slide I wonder what those will be for.
Yeah the queue design is kind of weird but i think raging bull does it too dosent it?

The digital camera I have isn't very good and if there isn't a lot of sun then they are kind of dark and blury look to them. Like I said before, I think there are going to be two queues like Roar, it seems like it is setup that way. You will walk in, go through the diagonal one first, then go up some steps to the horizontal one (the part that looks like the Alamo at AW).
Look at the far left of these pictures (www.sfafans.org/spc.htm), I think the stakes are for a concrete stairs or ramp that lead back to the midway since some of the stakes are shorter than the others.

The construction of the ride seems to be far ahead of the queue and station construction. Do they plan to open it with some sort of temporary arrangement?
I doubt it. All that really remains from what I can see is the construction of the station. I think it would be hard to complete the construction of the station once the ride is open. Assumptions are being made the ride will open Memorial Day Weekend, that still gives them three weeks and gets them in under the tail end of the promised Mid-May debut. I expect we will see substantial construction progress this week and the rest of the lift hill will be completed. The station was the last thing done in the construction of Diablo Falls and it only took a matter of two-three weeks. I can't see how they would work on PBR once daily operations begins and if PBR is open. They can't work on the ride or the station while the park is open. That pretty much eliminates business hours.
BTW, there is a 35th Anniversary video on lonestarthrills.com that shows a 5 second clip of PBR if anyone is interested.

Mike Miller - My beer-on-ride cameraman will even be there...
From what I've heard in reviews of DF that thing spins so much that you'll feel as if you drank a six pack by the time the ride's over, besides beer & water don't mix very well.
What with all the spinning that ride produces your PBR wouldn't even remain in the can while riding PBR,so the answer is a resounding no to cup holders on the ride vehicles.

If I'm not mistaken SFA doesn't even serve beer in any of it's food outlets so I guess that answers the question right there.
Actually, SFA does server beer at just about all of their food stands.
