Back to PAT, as I was looking at the flyer they sent out for season passes, I noticed that the cobra roll seems like it's at the top of a long incline. I hadn't noticed that in other Beemers.
Now, to prevent confusion, what I mean is that it seems to me that the cobra rolls tend to be at more of a straight-on angle, not a hill up to it.
Am I missing them, am I on to something, or, has the loss of all my Nebraska blood causing me to be delirious?
(edit was due to me actually thinking 'prevent', but typing 'cause', which actually did cause confusion) *** Edited 11/6/2005 8:49:47 PM UTC by SVLFever***

So...does the inline twist seem like it has more of a hill approaching it?
I don't think they could get Frank to come back...ever....just based on pride alone. I hear Bob Uecker is available.... ;)
On inverted coasters this causes the hill that the rail shapes to have a sort of "dent" on the top, as a portion of the vertical size of the train has to be subtracted from the parabolic curve, almost making it look like a straight piece of track.
I guess that is one reason why inverted inline-twists are looking so flat sometimes.
But there are flat airtime hills on Hypercoasters as well -
the flattest one has to be the hill after the second drop of SFMM Goliath. (Is there actually any airtime on there?)

(the first pic shows just how incredibly flat that hill actually is) *** Edited 11/7/2005 7:57:13 PM UTC by superman***
I just hope they are done with the inline twist when I go down there this next Saturday so I can take me some Pictures of it.
Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."
But as far as enthusiasts in general are concerned, they're not overly popular...shoulda had more airtime hills, at least on Goliath, SFoT *has* other places to get airtime...
If you love +G's, Titan is your coaster! I had ridden Goliath prior, but Titan really caught me off guard.

They are currently working A LOT on the station and thus why the webcam is currently focused on that area.

Midwesterners sure are *frugal* about starting threads... ;)
LOL! :)
P.S. Titan was the only non-Intamin non-looping coaster in my GT ballot...until I got PR... ;)

I didn't notice what they have done on the station when I looked at the webcam earlier. Is it even noticable yet?
