Posted | Contributed by xbombman

As we await an annoucement from the park, track, supports, and other parts for a new B&M coaster have begun to arrive at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The track is blue and yellow, while the supports are maroon. The new coaster is rumored to be floorless.

Very Good points Lumberdog

Also there is plenty of room inside of the Mountain it would just take more time to build in those spaces. Also Colossus area is dead b/c Colossus pretty much sucks now imo and alot of others. So there doing what they did too Viper and Psyclone, building record breaking rides by them to bring tons of people to the area.

This new ride will be record breaking for it's type, it will be nothing outrageous just a another big beautiful B&M

I think you Californians are really getting spoiled. But then again, getting spoiled coasterwise is good, so I should just be quiet

Uhm. You can't be spoiled in a situation like this. It's not the same as a kid whining to his/her mom for a piece of candy.

Looks like the world's fastest and tallest parking lot coaster!

Everybody is a comedian. I wonder why you didn't comment on CP's new ride as the "world's tallest and fastest one-trick pony"?

kRaXLeRidAH-I have never been to SFMM, I was just going on what I have heard. And you ask why not the parking lot? Umm...so people can park...

I said clone in a loose way. Lets just say the new ride will follow some guidlines set by S:KC. How about that Alpengeist style first drop! :)

Just to let you know VOLLEYGUY, you're right, the exact distance, I believe is 2304.20 miles, just to let you all know. (I know I'm being a smart ass)

It could be clearer why CP built early- they could have more time to tack one more on before next year.

Fabolous: Clone. Ha! This is Magic Mountain were talkin about

Batman The Ride, Deja Vu...hmm...those are clones!

Shoot, i don't complain about the clones :). My little saying is, the ride must be pretty damn impressive if they are going to build it more than once! Who cares if it is at some other park hundreds of miles away. It will just further enhance the collection SFMM already has. I am a 'strange one' as my girlfriend puts it though!

Wow, I am amazed how low the CP vs. MM banter has been in this topic, Congrats to everyone involved. My thoughts about Homey G comment. Dont count CP out on space, they own almost all of the land from the Radisson to the causeway, if push comes to shove, which it eventually will, hello parking garage off point.

Good to see MM get a B&M, something there maintance and ops cant turn into a piece of junk, or budget cuts in planning for that matter.

Feel bad for the small SF parks I think they need more investmant than the big 4. Oh well, stock cant get much lower. If attendance does not improve drastically next season. I think they will have to shed some parks, if they still want to use loans for capitol improvements.

Well, If SFMM is getting a clone it just might be a clone of the SFGA's Medusa. I would hope not though. Im not a big fan of clones. Here in NJ we are getting a clone of the Superman Flyer. I think its cause SF is tight on money now. And a clone would be cheeper build. But, I hope its not a clone for all you fans in Cali. If it is a clone of the SFGA's Medusa then your in for a treat. Its a great ride.

"So people can park"...Hmmm. Well I can't help you there because you already made the first statement in your post that you haven't been to the park. So you have no idea how gigantic the parking lot for this park is.

Well, it is common sense the more you build in your park the parking space you need...it sure hasn't helped SFEG to put The Flying Coaster in their lot as they have to shuttle people over from Mile High all the time. Just a thought...

It's defently a floorless coaster. What's the tallest height supposed to be and were are they going to put it? I have a hunch but it maybe the world's tallest floorless coaster ;).

Playerpunk-I don't think so......read 'em again.......

RCTycoon2k.....thanks! lol

Chiller, where did you get that from? A broad generalization, but where did it say S:UF at SFGAdv would be a clone?

1: Of course it's a floorless! Why would they be getting some other type of B&M?

2: Of course it'll be a record breaker! Why would they wait four years to build a clone?

3: Of course they're being spoiled again! Why would Six Flags spoil another park?

It hasn't been nearly four years since their last coaster.

Wow, what a great wedding gift, a new coaster at my local mega park! Medusa West is a parking lot coaster, and it's my favorite looper. Whatever it turns out to be, it will be great. B&M are not in the habbit of making stinkers.

Iron Draggon means in 2003 it will have been 4 years since the first floorless coaster opened.

Nothing... NOTHING... can prepare you for... the Fourth Dimension!

For once I'm more interested in what SFMM has than CP. That's kinda scary.
