Park with the best atmosphere

Since I can only go by the parks I've been to, Holiday World tops my list...it just felt homey and comfortable immediately, even though I'd never been there before.

I list CP second, but only because I've been going there for 37 years and can walk the place blindfolded just by the familiar sounds and smells. It's more like "home" to me due to it's familiarity.

Your Park only has 1 good coaster! That's too bad!

The Disneyland Resort...not just Disneyland park itself but the whole resort.

From my experience, Hershey has two distinct smells depending on which way the wind is blowing and which half of the park you're on. One is divine, the other is...well....bovine.

I was just thinking to myself how something like that would only happen at Cedar Point.

Or at SFKK when T2 opened after a 25 minute shut-down. ;)

My faves for 'charm and vibe:' Indiana Beach, Knott's, Holiday World, Disney Parks in general, Knoebels, Kennywood, Heshey... The usual suspects.

1) Disney 2) BGW 3) PKI 4) Hersheypark

If a park's staff is included in the atmosphere, pissy workers talking about relationship problems, rude and angry ops to Alaska, and the most boring and straight-faced on-ride photo team I've ever seen makes CP's atmosphere one of the worst. Why do we always have a problem with workers at CF not being able to find the nearest sitdown restaurant?

Surprisingly the best crew on our last visit was at Mantis. Kudos to them and the nice lady at Coasters. I still had an excellent time though and none of the complaints matter at all. We (our entire group noted all of these items several times) just felt sorry for the people that worked there. The lines moved fast. I do like seeing Lake Erie from MF and Magnum though. Everyone loved the bathrooms though, we used them several times. It would be nice if any of the locks worked at the ones near Gemini.

"This is like a county fair only with good rides". That's coming from someone who has been to all the Florida Disney and Universal parks, Kentucky Kingdom, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and Carowinds. I don't think she meant it in a bad way. But with all the people and all the rides at CF parks when I visit, they always seem to be the most "lifeless" (particularly Dorney). It's hard to explain, but there's a piece missing that I don't miss even at most SF parks.

Wonderland Amusement Park - Amarillo, Texas

That's my pic, this place even got me excited to ride water rides which I don't normally go for. It definitely has that old school feel to it and it's very affordable.

Others with high marks....

Six Flags St. Louis, Disneyland, California Adventure, Busch Gardens Tampa, Williams Grove.

And of course the greatest of all time, The World Famous San Diego Zoo. Hey it's got the Skyfari and Bus so it's got a couple rides.

Blah!

I loved the atmosphere at Knotts Berry Farm, All the WDW parks, Islands of Adventure, Cedar Point, and Disneyland Paris.
For me I would Deffinetly say CP. I know it doesnt have the best of Landscaping or Scenery but to me im just lovin the coasters and thats what I love to be around
