SFGAm comes second. I love the feelin of the park. Although to be honest, I kinda fell it's losing it's family atmosphere.
CP an Carowinds also had good ones, but at SFWoA I just wasn't feeling it.

#1 Canobie Lake Park Fan!!! My top 7 coasters:
1. S:RoS @ SFNE 2. Montu 3. Yankee Cannonball 4. Kumba 5. Gwazi 6. Cyclone (SFNE) 7. B:DK
A close second for me was Disneyland Paris. I totally didn't want to go because I wanted to spend more time in the city, but I was so glad I did. The architecture is nothing short of gorgeous, the employees were friendlier than almost anyone i met in France, and maybe it was the jet lag, but the whole time i was there it just felt like an ethereal experience. Much better than the Magic Kingdom IMO.

S:ROS; SFNE. Ride it, and you'll understand.

CP. Hands down. It doesn't have the best theming, or even the best overall collection of rides, but for some reason I'd rather be there than anywhere else in the world.
It doesn't have the best collection of rides? I agree that it is a great place, but I think that it has the BEST collection of rides.
As far as Atmosphere I say SDC.

I would also vote BGW - that park in particular is rich in atmosphere with its theming, landscaping, employees and well-themed attractions.
Looking beyond the corporate parks, Idlewild, Knoebels, and Canobie are also standouts.
The worst atmosphere is at SFGA and SFMM

That's not exactly saying much mate! :-) Not sure whether your comments are a positive reflection on the park staff or a damning indictment of the General population of France. However, I'm going to go for the latter.
For me, it has to be Disneyworld or IOA. I know that's going to raise a few groans, but let's not let familarity detract from the fact that these parks really are magnificent creations. They just immerse you in an alternate fantasy world. Exactly what a Themepark should do. Special mention also goes to Seaworld. A park that is beautiful, well designed, fun and educational in equal measure- quite an achievement. Actually, the same goes for BGT!
All the best.
...Busch Gardens Williamsburg does have the best theming & landscaping by far of any park on the planet (better than Alton?) and every area will draw you in, however... you may be more inclined to walk around & catch shows more-so than ride all the rides.
...New England is a park truly done the Six Flags way. I think it has the best atmosphere thus far with the Loony Tunes & DC Comics area done to perfection. Theming for those areas are second to none, not to mention the main midways. Definately an atmosphere that says "you're here at a 'amusement theme park', this ain't Kansas anymore!".
...Cedar Po!nt doesn't have the best overall collection of rides as nelson324 has said. It has the best collection of coasters, but severely lacks in flats. Visit PCW for an idea on how to do flat rides. Their atmosphere is clean, very clean & open... but wouldn't fall as "best", just extremely fun since you can see so much wherever you are (except the far back where MeanStreak is).

Knoebels by far...
I second that!
Oh and Holiday World, Hersheypark, and believe it or not, WIlliams Grove, which is just a all around wierd park.

Ask yourself; When was the last time YOU visited Conneaut Lake Park?
--Ryan - headed out to HW in a few hours, I will pick up my check there. ;)

"...every one cheered when the train made it over the top of the tophat! I was just thinking to myself how something like that would only happen at Cedar Point.
Of couse that would only happen at CP...there is only one Dragster ;) But seriously It's not just a CP thing. Every time I've waited for a coaster that had shut down the crowd in the station would cheer the second it was announced it was reopening.
