I think June, for sure, but not sure where it will land.

I would bet it lands at #1 just given the strong Cedar Point contingent that seem to be on this site. (me included)

I think the strong feelings could undermine its rating, too. The more people like something, the more others are determined to feel the opposite. I mean, they would be wrong, but people are people. ("...so why should it be?")

Interesting question. I’m gonna say first weekend in June, after 1200 enthusiasts swarm the park for CoasterMania and then update their lists.

Jeff- Any idea what coaster joined the CB 100 the quickest after its debut?

I'll bet anyone a 6-pack (not to exceed $20) it'll appear on the list at #1 on May 27, 2016.

Valravn opened May 7 2016 and entered the list on June 6.

Mystic Timbers opened April 15 2017 and entered the list on June 12.

SV is considerably more hyped than those coasters (I'm not sure what other coaster in the US in recent years would beat it just in terms of buzz) so you might see people flocking to CP faster to ride this one. But I'm not sure that would be enough to have it debut on the list much faster.

I'll be bummed to see SFOG's Mindbender bumped but there's enough churn in those spots on the list, maybe we'll see it make a return.

So maybe the June 1 line is pretty close? I wonder if the rankings update automatically or if Jeff has to "flip a switch" to calculate. If the later he might be able to game it!

Speaking of the CB top 100, I finally feel vindicated. I have long failed to comprehend why I-305 is ranked no. 35 - it tends to stay in that general range - when it is unquestionably one of the best coasters I've ever ridden. That movie will always be special to me since it was the first movie with cussing that my parents let me watch. And kids cussing at that.

I'm a software developer, man. I write code to do less, not more! The poll is in the hands of machines.

Does anyone know where Fury 325 debuted? I could go look at the raw data but I was hoping someone knew.
