On-Ride Photos...

While it isn't exactly a roller coaster, I personally enjoy the Stratosphere Tower's on-ride photos for The Big Shot. The picture is taken right as you are being launched up the tower's needle, capturing the look of excitement, or horror, on each rider's face. The picture quality is very good and the picture folder is nice as it explains exactly what the ride is. I also think Disney has excellent on-ride photos and well-themed folders for such rides as Splash Mountain and Test Track. I have yet to ride Rock And Roller Coaster, but the on-ride pictures look pretty nice. Busch Gardens Williamsburg also has very nice folders. I like how Alpengeist's tells the story of that ride. And last but not least, Cedar Point has some very nice on-ride photos and folders. I only got a brown "On top of the world in Sandusky, Ohio" Cedar Point folder for my trip on Millennium Force this season as I visited early, so it looks like I'll have to make a return visit!

Apparently, on Apocalyspe at Draton Manor, they have an enclosed portion at the top of the ride. Here they give a countdown to the drop, but always drop before the countdown ends. The on-ride photo is at the bottom of the small enclosure so it captures the looks of guest experiencing the unexpected drop.

Actually it's right before the last corkscrew/wingover. It's right after you dive down so it always catches me by suprise.

I really like Lightning Racer's photo spot because the flashes have a cool effect in the tunnel.

I thought Hulk's and Apollo's Chariot are at bad places. AC's is at the bottom of the last bunny hop before you go into the station. Way too late IMO
I always thought the Raptors was a good place because half the train load has these pain looks on their faces. The one on the Log Jammer is awesome! I mean its hidden and it after a HUGE drop too! [sarcasm off]

The Boss has a cool on ride photo. It is right in the middle of the helix. You dont expect it if you are a first time rider.

Best:Loch Ness Monster-taking your picutre right after the loop.

Worst:The rapids ride @ AT. Why take a picture on a rapids ride?

Mantis's photo isn't taken after it's first corkscrew, it's after it's only corkscrew. Raptor's is before the helix. I think MF's is cool because it's in the dark, but I agree it would be awesome at one of the overbanked turns.
