What coasters do you think have the best on ride photo position, and what coasters do you think have the worst, or most boring on ride photo positions?
I would have to say that Kraken has a cool on ride photo spot, right after the first loop. I think Hulk's photo spot is really boring, since it is right at the end of the ride, and you are not going very fast. It would be cooler if they took your picture on the Hulk as you got shot out of the tunnel!

I'd Rather Be Riding Rollercoasters
Great Bear's is in a terrible spot. It is as you are hitting the station brakes, after the ride is over.
Rock N Roller Coaster's is good, as soon as you launch.
I think SOB's photo shot is in a pretty stupid place (right before the lift) but Daddy Beast's (right after coming out of the 1st tunnel) is really cool.

Coasters...the best natural buzz available.
Lightning Racer and Nessie have excellent photo places. Great Bear's really sucks.

'Nuff Said
I think MF's photo spot is in an odd position. I'd love to see it on one of the overbanked turns. I know that it would be a pain in the ....well, you know... but just think of some of the crazy shots you would get. The best one would have to be the Beast at the bottom of the first drop.

May the fleas of a 1000 camels infest your armpits for all eternity!!
Steel aint better, WOOD FOREVER!!!
Superman: Ride of Steel at SFA has a good spot, towards the end when you are coming down one of the camelbacks. The Hulk has a bad spot, and Medusa has a bad spot since you go past it so fast, half the time you can't even see yourself in the picture.

Parks for 2000: CP, Great Escape, Great Adventure, SFA, Islands of Adventure, Kennywood
Mantis is in a cool spot, around the corkscrew. Raptor has a good one too, comming out of the helix.
The one on SOB is in a strange place I agree.

SOB Rides-2
Why would you put a the camera before a lift? Exciting...

"Maybe I ain't so shy!"
I like Shockwave's @ SFGAm. Inbetween the diving loops on the boomerang/batwing. Why can't the designers just pick one name for each?
Hulk's photo is in a bad spot (right at the end) and Mantis also has a bad spot (right after the corkscrew).
I like Stealth's photo (after the loop), Splash Mountain's photo (the drop) and Montu's photo (fast part of ride).

"Put out an APB for a male suspect, driving a... car of some sort; heading in the direction of, uh, you know, that place that sells chili. Suspect is hatless. Repeat, hatless."- P.C. Wiggum
I'd have to agree with the others, Hulks is terrible. Gwazi has a good one at the bottom of the first drop.

SFNE 2001
Medusas at sfgadv is good because its right out of the zero-g roll. I hate appolos chariot, right before the brakes. I dont really care for inverted on ride photos because you cant ever see the people in the two last seats.
Stupidest is defenetlt SOB what the hell were they thinking?!?!?!?!?!

magic mountain and CP rule
MooreOn, The Beast`s phot spot is right before the first tunnel right after the first drop, not after the tunnel. Face Off is in a pretty good location, right after the vertical loop before you switch directions. Also, the Vortex has a pretty cool one, at the bottom of a boomerang.
Superman: Ride of Steel's spot is good. It catches people off-guard so they can't pose for the pic, which makes the pic seem for realistic.
Myrtle Beach's Hurricane has the pictures during the final helix, only usually I am turned completely around and you can't see me because I'm looking off at something.......other than that, who collects the on-rides? I've never bought one until I was thinking eariler this season that they are kind of like a baseball card, now I want to ride EVERYTHING just so I can have a stack of dumdb pictures taller than my friend's!
Superman Krypton coaster, if I remember correctly, had a stupid spot too. When the ride was finished, you went down one more 10 foot dip to get under a corkscrew, and it takes your picture then. It was horrible.
I think they pull that same little dip picture trick on Apollos Chariot. Imagine if they took your picture at the tunnel or on the second or third hill, who would notice they had had a picture taken? Similar to the above post, no posers!
Goliath's is awesoem it takes it right as you enter the tunnel. The stupidest it Demon at PGA you just complete the second crokscrew and you are going abotu 20 MPH through a turn to the station and snap you get your picture taken, also the on ride photo system is so old the pics aren't on monitor and there are black and white! I couldn't even see mine.
The best on-ride photo has got to be Mantis at Cedar Point. They take it at the very end of the first loop. The picture is not taken after a corkscrew.
